Been up since 7 doing a fresh baseline. Last time was HIH5.

better then OEM?
First impression, drive around the neighborhood, same as OEM. But when I took it out on a 45mph zone road I was literally looking for stoplights, trying to catch an orange, and I did. Caught an orange and I was at least 20 meters from the crossway, slammed the brakes and there I said well this thing now stops, yup better than OEMs.

The OEs felt glassy but lacks the bite, this combination still “feels” OE on regular braking conditions, same pedal response. But when I needed to decelerate more and harder the OE is not as active as this combination.

felt glassy
Perfect description of how my 100 series brakes feel, I would guess all the weight of add ons do indeed challenge the original brakes

Can you give me the model of your travel trailer? I have a 5.7 2016 Tundra but I want to be able to tow it with our ‘03 LC too. I know our tow rating is 6500 but I don’t want to get anything near that since we hit the big CO passes each year on trips. Did it struggle even with that lightweight Jayco? Thanks.

Took a ~1000 mile trip through Southern CO.

Slow going with the camper in tow on the high mountain passes, but all in all the truck did great.

Have you bedded the brakes yet? They'll work even better once they're properly bedded.

Test-loading the Ducati for my annual Colorado mountain riding from central-Missouri. Takes me an hour on the highway before I stop looking back at it constantly. Running AirLift 1000 bags on OEM springs and shocks.

Changed out the APPS. About a year ago I was having the issue where without warning, accelerator wasn't doing much unless I mashed it to the floor. When I turned the key off, then restart and it would be fine until next time. Happened about 5 times. Well, I bought a replacement and never installed since problem went away. It was sitting on the shelf, I was buttoning up the Timing Belt job, and figured the time was right. Very easy swap. Hope to never have that loss of power issue again, not fun!

Also, wanted to share that this glue worked really well fixing two broken tabs on my fan shroud. Both repairs holding up after several weeks.

Any links to show how the rears are done? I see the fronts just have the single screw. Thanks.
There are no screws to the back. I used a plastic molding removal tool and pushed it underneath and moved it along the length of it just widening the clamp tab. It lifted right up. I had all four of the door moldings changed out in about 30min.

Humble suggestion from another bike owner, loading the tension around the bike to the rear tie down [blue strap] might actually work against you and cause twisting in the wind. Looks good enough to have the rear tied down on each side evenly.

Loading up the shocks will work well enough to keep it from 'jumping'. Enjoy your trip - beautiful time to ride here between rain storms.

My Cruiser is pretty weighted down with armor, bumpers, rack etc and is on stock gearing w/33s. Wolf Creek pass I couldn't keep 2nd gear, ended up summiting in 1st at about 28 mph. That pass, and Monarch Pass give me trouble. Most everything else I'm in 2nd and can hold a solid 40+ mph.

Hope that helps!

Yes we need more details

I used a heat gun and the dull sull side of the orange tool you see pictured. Pretty much light heat, pull up and scrape as you go. Not too much heat and take it easy using the tool as you don't want to scratch up the plastic underneath. Then some Goo Gone to clean up the left over adhesive. It looks so much better.

The tools can be found on Amazon or Ebay for about $6 a set. Just look up "car trim removal tool."
