What have you done to your 100 Series this week? (72 Viewers)

Two independent shops couldn't diagnose it, first (independent shop) said trans, second (transmission shop) said wiring, so off to a toyota dealer who said the solenoids were bad (two master techs came up with the same diagnosis), replaced with a reman trans and everything was ready. Before I went to pick it up, they called and said a ECU code is coming on they think was caused by solenoids and want to replace it. 3 and a half weeks, and still no truck.
 
How do you like them. I am trying to decide between these the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W, or the Nitto Ridge Grappler. How is the highway noise and in town noise. (40 mph or lower?)
So far I like them, have to drive around a little more to give you a more in depth answer. So far road noise is low but much more than the yokohama geolander AT-S i had before. I am however excited to test them out this weekend on the Knoxville Devilhead/cement creekroad. I'll fill you in on how they do on the highway and the trail.

Getting my skids and rock rails painted up finally to get ready for HIH. The weather this spring has not been cooperative.

Purchased @MongooseGA ‘s 5 LX takeoffs over the winter. Finally had them painted by a local body shop; Lexus center cap logo removed and holes filled. Likely will add a Black Toyota logo (like on the 2016+LC) on the flat surface of these center caps. Painter was good, so taking truck back to have the entire peeling side molding match body color. The 2009 Tundra wheels I just removed are pristine (minus 1 drilled center cap) and for sale.

Went back in for a re-alignment today. Looks like there was some settling from the initial lift. Maxed stock caster, bumped up toe and used toe to recenter wheel - drives a bit straighter and doesn't float around at speed as much.
 
Ordered, lower ball joints, charcoal canister, 4 rotors and two sets of brake pads.....guess you guys can see my holiday weekend project, that is if parts get here in time......
installed, makes a world of difference.
 
I've been looking for a broken grill to cut up, they go for quite a bit to buy Ione to chop.
try rock auto, I got one for my LC for I think it was $39. I had to search certain years to find mine.
 
Replaced heater Ts. Not a moment too soon. Hot side broke inside the hose after the clamp was off, while trying to pull it out. Had to pull the small hose that runs into the block to fish out the little pieces. Heading off for a 5 week road trip later this week. Sedona, Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce, and Capitol Reef.

I ordered this Tee fitting already as preventive measure. My noob question is where is this located?

I ordered the metal version of this, is there anything else I need to have like special clamps or anything? Or special hoses since it’s the metal version that I will using?

Just waiting for delivery..

Changed up the color of the wheels! Somehow the finish on my wheels was starting to show black underneath the paint (too much powerwashing by previous owner?) so I ordered some plastidip anthracite grey. Looks a million times better than previous and should hold up fairly well. Best of all, only $60 for all 4 and I have a ton of paint left (could easily do it once or twice more).

Very curious, how do they actually measure out? My 275/70/18 KO2 say they are 33.4". But, when measured with a tapemeasure once mounted, they are actually 32.2". Looking at swapping to Wildpeaks now that my KO2 are over 50k miles and curious what their "true" mounted measurement actually is.

I'm LOVING my 275/70/18 Wildpeaks, and the price was right too. Don't have a mounted measurement on me, but thought I'd chime in.

Based off BFG’s spec sheet yes the 275/70R18 sits at 33.2 inches, however on the same line it also indicates the tire pressure to be at 80 psi.

80psi!? Holy cow! My rig is 7800lbs and I run 42 front/46 rear. I've chalked the tires and those pressures result in perfect wear. I can't imagine 80psi. That would be jarring has heck. Surely no one runs that high of psi. Heck, even with my 1100lb trailer, I only go up to 50psi on the rear.
