Ok, how did you install the ram mount bracket. Is that home fab, or a bracket I can buy? Thanks

@SierraWheeler, nice switching panel for the lights. Do you have a link for it, or at least who's producing it?

Switches courtesy of Switch-Pros. It’s a really slick unit. Expensive but very well designed. I can program the unit and control all of the lights wirelessly with my iPad.

Bracket courtesy of pro-fit. The bracket does flex left to right quite a bit so if you mount something heavy on there it will need another anchor point to make it stable.

I’ve got a bunch of parts and small projects piling up...

  1. Replace Velcro on jump seats or remove jump seats
  2. Replace CDL sensor to fix dash light
  3. Refoam all the speakers

What breather kit is that?

You got it right! I didn’t like how all of the other kits used that plastic tubing with push-in connectors. So I actually decided to make my own kit that uses 1/4” ID fuel line similar what we have with the stock breathers.

Started with a viair 6-port manifold and a 1/4 NPT brass sintered filter off of Amazon, then picked up the brass connectors at the local hardware store. Will run 1/4” ID fuel lines to connect everything up. I’m expecting the whole thing to cost me around $75. Not the cheapest or easiest solution, but it was a small price to get exactly what it is that I wanted.

May not be the cheapest but it looks great! Most times a job well done is worth a little extra!

Antenna / light mounts are finished up.

Thanks, just ordered one!

Hasn’t officially happened yet, but if everything checks out with the PPI on Monday, the white ‘05 will join the ‘99 in the driveway, taking the place of my wife’s Q7. In the future, the ‘99 will become my son’s when he starts driving and the ‘05 will become mine.

Everything seems to work except the Night Vision. Def not a deal breaker, but would be fun to have it working. Will need new leather on the front seats and a good detail. 244k on the clock. I have to say, I’m surprised at how much better and easier the ‘05 drives.

Wow you did an amazing job on these and I love the adjustability!!! Got any other products on your mind or in the works?? Unless that info is classified;)

Thanks!! Not classified... I have a few ideas but not sure which I want to put out just yet. I'll post them in my thread once I've decided.

Tested out the new front locker. Much more controlled and no more atrac chattering. And the SPC rear arms flex pretty good.

ALSO, Best buy of the year. Went to 4wheelparts with @DragoISAR got a 10k synthetic X20 winch for 100 bucks (remote didn't work, but someone in the parking lot had a spare and sold it for 20 bucks). 120 dollar 10K synthetic winch.
