Upgraded to JDM premium horns. Plenty loud.

Now I've got a little Land Shark in the front and a lot in the back (drawers)...Land Mullet?

Installed my Shark Net grill today. Next I've gotta tackle the previous owner front end damage with a bit more care.

Anybody near SFO getting replacing a stock front bumper?

I have one the same color.

Did you OEM or aftermarket on the cv axle?

Aftermarket. The indy has had good luck with the brand but another poster just mentioned an issue with his today (same tech, same axle). He was showing me some things on the other mudder's truck and why he thinks there had been a problem with it. Looks like the outermost splined shaft had an inconsistency in thickness. Should there be a problem, the tech is willing to take care of it.

Ya the Napa/Cardones specials? They're pretty terrible, I have a vibration from them going 70mph+. I know it's them because all the other parts on my front end are brand new oem/555.

If you don't mind me asking, what did those run? Literally, the ONLY complaint I have about my LC is the less than dramatic, Honda Civic sounding horns ha!
I bought them on eBay for $67 including shipping from Japan. They arrived in about 5 days via Japan Post/USPS and the seller, sakuralovejapan, was excellent regarding communication & tracking. They even included a nice note.

There are many listed (just search for the P/N 08522-60010) for various prices and shipping times. I would choose a seller based on recent feedback.

Great, thank you!

What year is your cruiser? The horns got much better in 2003 and beyond. I had a 99 I switched to hella horns. My 04 is good to go.

We shall see. It wasn't a planned service but the brake service was. If I'd had time to research it much before I probably would have ordered my own and brought it. My thinking was if it fails, I won't have to re-do it on my own dime or labor and if it doesn't, then it's something that was able to be done with minimal extra labor cost on an already planned service. The ride home was fine and for some reason the truck actually seemed to ride better. Psychosomatic probably but at least no vibrations noticed as of yet. I kept my old one to rebuild or use as a core or something.

Ceramic tint all the way around including windshield and new shoes. Ridge Grapplers 275/65/18 on Granite Alloy GA640 Dark Bronze wheels.

This is a really great look! Love the color combo.

It's actually the shaft between the cylinder and the switch. They're known for breaking and potentially leaving you stranded, and/or facing a hefty tow and repair bill. I didn't want that (for obvious reasons), so I'm hoping to head it off before it happens.
Mine snapped the second week in January. Was in town so the situation could have been worse. I had to have it towed to the dealer though.

The tow truck driver had to turn the wheel with the engine off, to get the hundy on the flat bed. Now my steering has some play. I might be checking my rack and upper steering column shaft for play...

Thanks! REALLY happy with how the colors look together and how the wheels fill the well. The only part sticking out is the side tread so hopefully the truck will stay clean, for the most part! Need to get some new headlights as the ones on the rig have the cracks in them and maybe eventually get a Slee front bumper.

I've not heard of this before. How did you know or why do you suspect it was likely to soon break? Just want to know what to watch out for.
