Replaced my O2 sensors, hoping to hit 14mpg!
Finally got around to replacing the 185K miles old rear shocks, i tell you, living in the rust bowl, the rear shocks are a major PITA to swap. Why didn't toyota do a tophat and bolt that to the body instead of hiding the strut bolt behind a panel? Makes no sense.
Anyways here's how they look after 16 years and 185K miles, they were a bit soft but still had some life in them, weren't these supposed to go 25 years? I think it would if it wasn't for the rust.
One of the strut bolt just snapped right off, that is half an inch of metal i just broke cleanly.
While at it, i thought i'd just throw in the 30mm Springs Spacers for a little lift, btw, to get the stock springs out, you gotta jack the car up high, put jack stands under the frame, and undo the shock, and sway bar, step on the hub and the springs pop right out. Watch your brake lines, don't put too much stress on them.
Nice little wheel gap now, these are 33" tires and now they look small under this gap

Haven't towed anything this big with the 100 ever. At my parent's farm for vaca. My uncle let us use his pontoon for the day. Although pontoons aren't as heavy as they look this one isn't small. Backed in and pulled out of the dock with ease. Fun to give it a little workout.

Finally got around to starting my drawers. Build thread and maybe a video or two to come. Thanks for everyone's help answering all my questions. Still have a ways to go but round one was successful mostly due to my dad's carpentry skills.

New trail and a new watercrossing 
Completed my modular sleeping platform. The front section is detachable when you tap out the pins of the 3 hinges on the underside. That way the rear section can be used for storage when the second row seats are installed. In this case the hinges aren't actually for rotation, but instead for constraining all motion. Because they're on the underside, the plywood and 2x4s from both sides butt up against each other and support the platform.
Otherwise, it's big enough for two people and lots of storage underneath. The whole thing is secured because the rear section uses turnbuckles, and the front is bolted down in place of the second row seat brackets.
I'm thinking about whether I want to fill in the space between the platform and the interior walls. Maybe! We'll see.
It's not the most elegant, as I did it with hand tools. But it's quite sturdy, using 3/4" birch plywood.

Replaced the air and fuel filter and found out I do have the door for the cabin filters.
That was not deep at all!
I have been through at least 3 water crossings that covered my hood, no problem!
Ordered the Viair 450C OBA kit with 2.5 gallon tank on Thursday, after hearing nothing but great reviews from a couple friends of mine, so I finally got off my ass and removed the AHC pump and res last night- don't mind the excess AHC fluid down there lol...

I used an 18x6 piece of 18 gauge to mount the tank, using the two threaded inserts for the front bracket for the factory spare. I'll cut the excess off the plate, and round off those terrifying corners later this week. The tank is plumbed now, too...
Temporary spot for the compressor until I get a house battery, and actually make a decent mount for it all...
I need to finish wiring it all up and cleaning up the plumbing after work tomorrow. I'm heading down to the San Juans on Thursday to crew a friend at the Hardrock 100 (Hardrock 100 | Hardrock Hundred Mile Endurance Run), and have a few other things I need to get done- rotate tires, wire up some power to the rear for a switchable 12v/dual USB/voltmeter on my drawers, and possibly do my diffs if I have time. We should be doing Cinnamon twice, Stony, Ophir, Cali Gulch>Cali Pass>Hurricane Pass>Corkscrew Gulch, and hopefully Imogene (in the middle of the night) to get to all of the aid stations- I'll try to update the HIH7 thread with conditions when I get back for all you folks.

Don't have pics as we don't do the fancy phone thing, but we just got back from Colorado camping and a 2,000mi trip!
Loaded with 3 adults and 2 kiddos, pulling a 5'x8' trailer with bikes/gear, and going 65-70mph, the truck did great!

Painted the grille. Previous owner sprayed it grey but the paint fell off.
Sanded, filled, primed and sprayed in metallic dark grey.

Note that due to Dutch tax rules I only have two front seats and none in the rear. Behind the front seats is a "wall" and the rest of the car is a van.
The car with five or seven seats will cost 3256 euro's per year in road tax, with 2 seats as a van is "only" 660 euro's per year.

Very interesting on the taxes. So when you have a vehicle with more than 2 seats you can convert it (remove seats) and then avoid the tax? Or it has to come from the factory with only 2 seats?
The reason for the lower tax is because it now is a "company vehicle".
The car with five seats can be converted to two seats but it is a complicated process and can be done in different ways.
Dealers provide their own conversion kits to do this. A lot of new cars like the LC200, X5, X6, Q7, etc you can buy pre converted in the Netherlands.
For example you will need a separation wall of the full height on a stock Landcruiser 100.
But if you lift the roof by 5cm you can use a separation wall of only 30cm high.
A imaginary block of 98cm high, 20cm wide, 125cm long needs to fit into the loading space on a flat floor in my case.
If you want four seats than that block will be even bigger (130cm high, 20cm wide, 150 long I believe).
Another thing is that if you buy the car new, and you apply to these rules you don't have to pay "BPM" to the government.
The BMP (what you have to pay extra when you buy the car new) on a big landcruiser (200) is like 30,000 euro's.
There are a lot of other rules that you need to apply to, but I won't bore you with the details.

Sometimes I am amazed at foreign policy regarding well anything, just when I think I've got a pretty good mind on things I get introduced to something rather crazy from my point of view but intriguing none the less!
I mean hey, If we in the US could get a vehicle tax break in our states via the SUV ruling and number of seats I'm sure things would change.
The only reason my LCc PO even purchased the LC was because he had a Chevy Tahoe, it was the year 2000 and the federal government, I don't know the details, came out wth the “Hummer Tax Loophole,” in Section 179. He didn't want a Suburban and test drove the LC and loved it. Go figure,
It had something to do with regular deductions around $11,000/yr or something but if your GWVR was over 6000 pounds but under 14,000. I guess your deductions per year could be as high as $25,000 or sumpn.
Do a google search for "Grijs Kenteken" you will find all the creative solutions people create to pay less tax.
