Helped my Nephew put on hit hardtop on his 77 FJ40. Missing a few bolts. When he showed up this morning I was installing my freshly painted LCP Attick Rack! Now I just need to fill it up!

At least you have that piece of mind again!

TIPS: don't even try this without a pair of flexible clamp pliers and needlenose vice-grips.

I've never had any difficulty removing the spring clips with just a normal pair of angled pliers, even the ones on the T's that are harder to reach.

Finally got the chance to run my backup camera wiring, tapped the reverse lights for camera power, then ran video cable thru this hole in the rear cargo area under the carpet. I ran the video cable along the ds plastic then under the driver seat, to the center console. More pics to come when I finish up!

I like the shot of your truck! What kind and size tires are you running? And any reason you don't have a skid plate?

Tires are 315 75 16 toyo open country. Skid is off from a couple weeks ago when I installed my
Lights. I have been meaning to paint plates and throw some fresh paint on the skid to put it back on. Didn't get to it before we went out.

How did the 1hundy do at Hidden Falls? Were you able to do most trails?

I don't have sliders yet, and it was really wet and slippery up there. We took it kind of "easy" but were able to do what we wanted. With sliders and a locker I think I could do the majority of the trails there.

Tested out the new rack and Tepui RTT. Best night of sleeping while camping ever. Love not having to worry about rolling off an inflatable sleeping pad. Had great views of the sunset over the Pacific as well.

Can you get the rear hatch all the way open with tent opened to the rear?

I can't open it all the way. Tent orientation is temporary until I work on the mounting brackets and placement to allow the Tepui rails to interact with the Pioneer Platform. Soon I'll change it so the tent opens towards the passenger side.

  • New hood struts
  • Bled/refilled AHC
  • AHC LIFT/level
Still need to turn TB's up more and install rear spacers to lower pressures. Pressure down 1ma in front, rear no change.
Oredered some pieces for front bumper build: hoop, shackle mounts. Still need to remove running boards, sliders will follow front bumber build.

Switch and Compressor installed pre TJM locker install. Next up, clean up wiring and install the locker switch...older slee dual battery tray up for sale. Will post sometime when I get the chance. Also, got some OME mediums for sale. Went up to the heavies post dissent rear bumper install.

Hey same thing-pre locker install, I got the on board air installed, wires plummed, switches mounted and connected. Surprisingly every thing worked!

The ARB harness makes it pretty dang easy, and the instructions are straight forward. Of course I got kind of anal with the wiring install and sleeved all the wires Techflex wire loom over all the wires, used split loom on the air line. Looks "professional grade" now- for what thats worth :)

ARB CKMA12 compressor chosen to run the rear locker and supply standby air for airing up tires if my CO2 tank runs dry. If/when I add a front locker still one port availble for that line.
