What Fuel Pump for Ram Jet 350? (1 Viewer)

For guys with Ram Jet 350's (or experience with them) I was wondering what fuel pumps you guys are running?

I'm not certain but from what I have found it runs on 45psi. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong). I'm hoping to get all my ducks in a row and order up everything I need all at once.

are you looking to retrofit an in-tank setup or looking for an inline fuel pump like the E2000

External. I've got two tanks now and use a fuel selector valve with an external pump. Hoping to just swap pumps. I've got a Holley inline for Pro-Jection now (about 15psi I think).

Dom, get an E2000 pump from your local parts store, they are able to be found aplently and are reasonably priced, some places offer a lifetime warranty which is nice, I carry a trail spare and they are an easy changout, just mount it to the frame rail....

We carry a 15psi, 45psi, and 60-70psi for in-line external use. Please do check in with me before you attempt to plumb the double tanks though because I can provide some little jewels of wisdom for doing so (especially a better pump mounting location than has been previously suggested, and possible single gauge operation)

Thanks guys. I'll look into the E2000 Noah. Jim- I can't find the fuel pumps on your site. Could you steer me in the right direction on your 45psi pump? I already have a 6 way valve with senders in each tank so I run one gauge. Interested in your pump placement info as well.

OK, so I've edited this post. I guess the E2000 is the way to go. Just having a hard time getting the actual specs on it. Napa has a BUNCH of replacements and all vary from no mention of PSI to 2-7 all the way to 65. I guess I'll keep looking.

Dom, what psi is required for the engine you are running,? an E2000 should work fine, do yourself a favor and grab a guage to test the fuel pressure when you install it, my vortec comes with a test point in the hard line, not sure about your setup though.....

Yeah I'm definitely plumbing a fuel pressure gauge in. The fuel pump needs to be 43-55 psi and deliver 35 gallons/hr. Most everyone has a cross reference for the e2000 but every one they pull is rated differently and NOT in the psi range...

Thanks Noah. I may take you up on that. I'm having a hard time finding anyone who actually HAS the e2000. Everyone says they have a Bosch replacement (not the right psi) or a Carter version w/o the right specs, blah blah blah.
