Wow. It looks like there are several different FJ years included here. Newer hood I believe.

Looking good! I’ll vote for Kenda. That MC will wear like iron if that’s a factor. Beautiful 40!

ooh, show us more truck. These 20 degree starts are making me wish I had efi. Once it hits and runs for a second it’ll run as long as you want. With input from my throttle assist (brick), once some heat is in the intake it’ll run all day.
I really need to get the hard top sealed up more, and put weather stripping on the doors. It’s a little drafty. But my toes stay toasty.
Used the 40 to tow a little 22re truck back up to the garage this evening.

cutie. Solid Axle?

There is a halfway house around the corner from me. When they started digging out all the junk I caught a glimpse of an early 80's 4x4 22r. I didn't think much until I saw some dudes parbuckling it onto a car hauler. Asked 'em what was up, they said they were "junking it" to "help" out the owner. Thing looked tight. I punched myself in the face and walked home.89 so sadly no. 145k miles tho.
Head gasketthe bed. Going back together this weekend. Good friend of mine owns it.
When I was probably 16 i took a perfectly good 84 solid axle truck and cut it up and put 3/4 axles, 400 and 4 speed under it from my 79 f250. Never finished it and ended up selling it for little to nothing. Ruined two good trucks and nothing came out of it. Spent countless hours on it.There is a halfway house around the corner from me. I feel that in my walletI started with chasing tail then moved on to cars and have never financially recovered.
Just a little guy
Love the barn door latch!!! Great multi purpose solution!I’ll bet it rode better with that in the back![]()
It’s a little over size so the handle jams it and solves a rattle at the same time.Love the barn door latch!!! Great multi purpose solution!
Yeah man! Feeling the cold starts over the last few days here as well.
How would you describe the effort it takes to get it started? My 32/36 DGV Weber on the 2.4L inline-4 is sensitive to the amount of choke, and mine is a manual choke, which gives me a hand-control on the dash, but, it gets tricky when it is in the teens F., or colder. These 20 degree starts are making me wish I had efi.
