Looking good! I’ll vote for Kenda. That MC will wear like iron if that’s a factor. Beautiful 40!

Those ole MC tires were some leftovers off a dually we swapped out years ago. They have terrible wear patterns, however they were free and I can’t seem to cut them up and throw away. They were nice to have for a week or so on the 40 for testing.

My 40 is a hoopdie compared to most but we enjoy it.

Topped off the fuel, loaded up the family and drove a 35 mile loop to get a tree for the year. Heater bumpin, kids laughing.

Whipped up some hot chocolate while the kids played.

Solid Sunday cruiser cruise.

These 20 degree starts are making me wish I had efi. Once it hits and runs for a second it’ll run as long as you want. With input from my throttle assist (brick), once some heat is in the intake it’ll run all day.

I really need to get the hard top sealed up more, and put weather stripping on the doors. It’s a little drafty. But my toes stay toasty.

Used the 40 to tow a little 22re truck back up to the garage this evening.

ooh, show us more truck.

89 so sadly no. 145k miles tho.

Head gasket 💩 the bed. Going back together this weekend. Good friend of mine owns it.
There is a halfway house around the corner from me. When they started digging out all the junk I caught a glimpse of an early 80's 4x4 22r. I didn't think much until I saw some dudes parbuckling it onto a car hauler. Asked 'em what was up, they said they were "junking it" to "help" out the owner. Thing looked tight. I punched myself in the face and walked home.

When I was probably 16 i took a perfectly good 84 solid axle truck and cut it up and put 3/4 axles, 400 and 4 speed under it from my 79 f250. Never finished it and ended up selling it for little to nothing. Ruined two good trucks and nothing came out of it. Spent countless hours on it.

Then started chasing tail. Funny how that works.

Just a little guy

My 1st foray into “Yotaville”. Bought it used with 20k on the ticker. Came with the obligatory seed hole burns in the cloth interior and a “Journey” cassette.

Salad years…🍺

How would you describe the effort it takes to get it started? My 32/36 DGV Weber on the 2.4L inline-4 is sensitive to the amount of choke, and mine is a manual choke, which gives me a hand-control on the dash, but, it gets tricky when it is in the teens F., or colder.
