Another shot from the Cove, new trail we found - steep, rutted, crossed up, no winch needed.

Great Photo. I love bringing trucks home on the trailer. You are right on the mark, the trip is half the fun, I've never been that far though. Good luck with your new Toy

I hope to make a cove run this summer finally. Looks like you guys had a good run Rick.

Thanks! this is the 3rd one I have dragged back from out West and I never get tired of it

I have been replacing worn suspension bushings on the 80.

Also I have been tracking down a grinding noise..and it is not from the transfer case where I mated bearings from one case to races from another.... I think I have a pinion bearing going bad in the rear and a piece of metal bouncing around in the front diff. from the locked up VC... Kind of weird being under a running and wheel spinning vehicle...

I FINALLY bought new tires for the 40.. I bought her in the summer of 1997 and have only had worn/used tires on her... so I ponied up for some 33x10.5 BFG MT K2...

I just received a box full of bushings today too Bob. All new bushings going into my 92 80 series. Upper and lower links in the rear, both panhards, radius arms and both sway bars. All OEM bushings. Waiting on the OEM body mounts now too. Toyota sure is proud of their rubber goods

I went the whiteline route for all panhard, U/L control arms front and rear, and beck arnley for swaybar mid bushings.. my ends seem okay...I am mostly using slightly resized pipe fittings to press in and out..

New rear axle seals, drums and pads. Two less leaks and maybe some better braking now.

Replaced the shot ac idler pulley bearing. Now sporting some official OEM Yamaha parts on the 80 :)

Washed my 80 for the 1st time in several years!:beer:
Sealed my windshield to try and stop the leak!!

Now I just got to figure out why my spedo works on and off and fix the trans leak I have ;(

Remember to put some compressed air down your sunroof drains. I thought I had a windshield leak and it was the drains. Some compressed air and several seconds later and all was well.

Cleaned Out The Back To Go Get Some Free Bricks AND The Guy Never Showed. WTF... but at least my back is clean

Headed west for a weekend in the woods and then over into tn for the family reunion where the 80 earned me uncle of the year for taking all the kids on a trail ride on the property. Then straight to RDU for work this week.
