Just sagging. I did not swap them when i swapped the rear due to time and no bushings. I bought bushings from sor but now need the time for the swap. The springs i am going to swap in are in better shape and already have aal installed. I can definitely wheel as is but.....

just wheel it as is, it isn't like you are adding larger tires or a locker.... you will gain no more off road ability from and inch or two of lift:meh:

Got my radiator And my front seal done. Took David and I most of the day but she's done.

I should have specified... In the 62

Had to pull a lot of stuff apart. New seal, new aluminum radiator and David built me a battery tray like the one he made for his 62. Mine fell apart when we pulled it out.

Packed up my new trailer (Thanks Marshall) to go to the Spring Off Road Festival in Columbia. Woke up at 4 and was heading out when the wife got sick. Change of plans. Now I'll be in the shop today. Anybody want to swing by?

morning sickness????

Sold the 1978 Fj55.
Now I'm down to two running cruisers, 3 frames, a parts 60 that is headed to the scrap pile once I pull a few more things...gas tank, windows, clutch hard line...
And my 88 62 with a bad transmission and leaking a quart of oil a week....
I can't decide if I want to install a 2 year used rebuilt auto or drop $3k putting a 5 speed in....

You don't have a front bumper from your 62 you want to sell do you?

I have one I will give you, the passenger side has a bend in it (outside the frame) from where I hit a deer....but it is better than nothing and I might be able to straighten it a little.

Wow... thanks for the offer... but I should have clarified... my 62 bumper is in pretty decent shape but has two dents in it just large enough to drive me crazy (as the rest of the vehicle is in amazing stock condition - see sig)... so I'm hoping to find a oem bumper in great shape... certainly not urgent, just a wish...

Welded up some new beefy longer LCAs for the 80
New OEM bushings to finish
Now looks like rain for days so next weekend should be Install :D

2" .120 wall DOM. .45" over stock length
Left the lengths of arm inside so effectively 1/4" now
Debating if angle reinforcement is necessary now, Would like to stop bending these

Woody has most of the pics of my rig. He is out there for two more weeks.

Here I am on top of the overlook on Hell's Revenge. Good comparison of my truck to others:
