It was amazing...I am now officially spoiled. Moab is like Mecca for wheelers, nothing else will do now :(

I do want to head to TX, plus, half the distance is appealing!

installed the Slee headlight wiring harness upgrade on the 80, I definitely see a difference in the Highbeams, but not so much of an upgrade in the low beams. Might be my high beams are a better bulb.. who knows.

but I did find where the PO broke a couple of the headlight bucket tabs, so if anyone is parting out a 94 80 or compatible vehicle I want some parts...

Pulled the cruiser out of the garage for the first time since we moved. Mounted the new badlands winch and fair-lead. Hopefully get it wired up tomorrow and try it out on some old grapevines that need yanked out.

Camping at Joe Nall (worlds largest remote control aircraft festival held in SC):

Didnt get the grapevines pulled, but did get her washed down. Ole girl looks pretty good for 30. Little man helped some also.

Well I've done quite a bit this past week.

Completely reworked the rear harness, replaced the parking brake. Hooked up the lights for low oil, check engine and the parking brake. Fixed my turn signals, added the rear marker lights and installed a 3rd brake light and reengineered the spare tire carrier.

Still need to install a new radio, new wrap bar, new skid plate, new soft top, new longfield axle and birf, new fire extinguisher, paint and install the doors and soft top bows and finish a big list on a clients cruiser all in 3 days. Should be fun.

Damn! That reminds me i have a skid plate that is not installed either!:bang:

The 60 has been making a terrible knocking sound lately, narrowed it down to the smog pump or power steering pull. Decided to tackle de-vaning the smog pump last night, to make sure that the thing didn't seize up and lose cooling. Spent 3 hours getting the thing out, cleaned, disassembled, reassembled, and reinstalled. Get in the truck this morning, and I'll be damned if the power steering pump isn't making more noise than before.

Guess who's going to LKQ to look for a Saginaw pump this weekend...

Finished screwing in the compartment divider and upholstering the storage box. Not a TJ tuck-n-roll for a led sled, but it will work.
Now I need to make the drawers.
Also installed the 12V and USB plugs. Not wired yet. That will happen when I wire the aux harness.

Been slowly working on the 40, drove her out of the carport and washed for the first time in who knows when. Tomorrow it's either mess with the timing or a possible addition to the 40!

Everything for scrubbed including the seats...while I vacuumed out all the debris inside I found this under the passenger seat...I think I would of rather found a snake. I don't know how long it has been there but it had been attached to the bottom of the seat, it was probably a foot wide but the bottom half had fallen off...I'm assuming it was a hornets best but I don't know.
