What did you do with your truck this week?

I got bored again and decided i need another trailer. I traded off the last one for parts for my m38a1 project. Now I had some square tubing laying around and decided i needed something for camping, but mostly hauling stuff around. This time around I made it larger so i could fit a lawn mower in it. It is 4 by 6 with CJ7 front springs and it is 5 on 5.5 lug for the tires. The tires are 33s. I still have to make the box for it. This time i am not going to make a seperate tub, but rather weld it to the frame, much easier and will make the sides sturdier.

This time around i got smarter and welded on some points to attach ropes or straps to hold stuff in it. I hope to get it done by Halloween to take the kids on a hayride in it. :)

I finally pulled out the dent from GSMTR...Looks alot better, still need some body work (bondo) to finish it. I may or may not do that. I'll have to get my wrap around rear bumper on so I know I won't hit it again.
Still waiting on a tail light from Carp....
for now I super-gluded mine together.

Cleaned my sunroof drains thanks to this sight so my passenger floor will be dry. Also pulled the 3rd row seats and researched parts for my front end rebuild. Hopefully ordering the parts in a few weeks. While working all weekend !

Did the front brakes in the pickup. New calipers and pads. I also fixed the swaybar link on driver side and test fitted the 35s on the front.

No pics. I feel like dohc. :(

Got everything plumbed for Bertha's A/C (just in time!) Still need to run leakdown test and make sure the compressor works. Then we need to finish the wiring for it. The Wagoneer's control panel is part electric and part vacuum operated - so we still got to figure that part out.

Well I didn't do much with the cruiser except install the iPod in the 40 permanently but I did get something done. Those of you who have had the honor and privilege to see my garage will appreciate this pic. You can actually see the floor.

That's not the garage of a true cruiserhead - LOL!

Give me a couple months. I've got to put all my cruiser parts in there by then.

wow someone feels better!!

There was a floor under that rug??? WOW!!!

I'm sure all the parts are inside. Like when your entire soft top and bows were scattered about your living room, 2f in the guest bath etc...

looks photoshopped to me :hillbilly:

It could be some one else's garage!!

It was actually under 100 degrees in Houston this weekend, so I fired up the pig and went for a drive. Then I fixed the sticky choke cable and drove her to work yesterday. Nice to have good weather so I don't stick to the seats with sweat.

Cleaned up the mess from the broken back glass and removed the gasket for an install appointment that got put off to next week due to lack of gasket available. Installed the new lightweight cardboard window and went back to URE and had a great traffic free weekday in the woods.

Swapped a battery in the pig and fired it up and drove it around the house for a bath.
Swine shopper coming to look at it tomorrow. If the 80 wasnt such a good wheeler I think id have to keep it.

Went to the Cove and led a few Tacomas and a massively built Disco all day Saturday. After leading the day-trippers back out to US41, Me (& Kitty) and Daniel P drove back into the trails to camp. Perfect weather and awesome wheeling. Explored a few caves and nobody in the group damaged anything (It was the first time out for one of the double cab Tacos). Daniel had his newly "flat-bedded" Taco and it did great.

Sunday morning we got up and continued northerly through the trail system. This place looks so different each time we come because of all the flooding they get. We only knew where we were because of the GPS tracks I've saved over the last few trips up there. I broke another CV on the trail and once I got extracted from the mud hole that ate it, we changed it on the trail in no time.
