Not much myself but a friend of mine who works with the sea scouts needed to tow some boats on short notice recently and the brakes are out on his '68 c20. So i let him borrow my cruiser.

I think my rig has converted him to the faith - both times he returned it with breathless compliments about how effortlessly it completed the task.

The 2nd boat weighed 4500lbs plus trailer and had to be towed across s dry drainage canal with loose rock banks, and he says he didn't even have to shift it into low.
 
I finally got my replacement installed. Will see how this one will hold up

Rebuilt the rear axle with Napa seals after I called naley, only to find out Beno was no longer there.
 
Had to cut off the spring holder for the spare tire. No way that thing was going to come out just by the traditional method. Now on the search for a whole new spare tire holding unit.
I took mine off last week. I have the whole spare tire assembly. Texas truck w/zero rust. PM me if you want to buy it.
