Back on topic...

I used my 80 to pick up lumber to build shelves in my garage.

And today I got some goodies in the mail. Time to replace the 23 year old O2 sensors and eliminate the EGR.

Got a call that all of my parts are in at Toyota to do my tune up. New plugs, wires, cap, PCV valve, and everything else @jonheld recommended. Going to be a busy week for my girl. :)

I'm guessing I will increase my MPG from the 6 mpg that I am getting now to hopefully 12 mpg. I will pee myself if I do.

Mine has all of the above + no AIR pump. Had the engine completely rebuilt & now I'm getting 11ish mpgs.

It's possible!! Took 2 years though

I won't have the air pump either. I just didn't take a pic of the belt because I didn't want to get flamed for using a NAPA after market belt. :)

If I get 11 mpg my ROI will be about 17 years, or about when I will get around to replacing the O2 sensors again...

Went wheeling

Ok, found it. And you do have product to sell, so go live biatch! :flipoff2: Cuz I wanna make it rain!!
Maybe he doesn't have anything to sell:flipoff2:
Maybe @NLXTACY is just building a lot of anticipation so he can get an enormous amount of orders in a very short period of time, then he can grab the money and disappear from ih8mud. He probably already has a second user name he has been building a reputation with for a while so he can still come on here.:p

Hummmm.......he is not currently gainfully employed. But he is not selling bumper with just chicken scratch as concept, so I guess the jury is still out.

I do know where he lives but I guess he could move and disappear also.......

Some more pics and a small elk shed

Wheels, LCPhil's Puma mount and interior spare tire mount powder coated, new 315/70-17 Yokohama A/T-S on Sequoia wheels and tinted the windows (I hate driving around in a fish bowl)

And a new decal...

But what if I have both the 80 and Prius????:hmm:

BTW I really liked the Geolander ATS, very good tire on and off the road.

I guess that makes you "carbon neutral"? :meh:

I have put about 500 miles on the tires so far, I really like them. especially compared to the near 10 year old cooper discoverer STT that they replaced. I really need to re-gear or LS swap the 80, 315's make it painfully slow over the mountains with the 3FE.

Changed bumper colors, went to duplicolor graphite... Oh, and finished filling/sanding all of those darn flare/cladding holes, lol

I fixed my "slow window roll up" again. I waited for it to warm up to 70 degrees. Windows roll up and down like new now. Saved $400! :flipoff2:

^^^^^

That only works two month a year here if we are lucky.

Not much reason to roll down your windows in the winter. Or during bug season. :)
