Not much reason to roll down your windows in the winter. Or during bug season. :)
What's this winter you speak of? Winter around here is prime time to roll windows down. It's the summers you want to keep them up here.

Cleaned up the leaky beast. Valve cover gasket, oil pump seal, dist o ring. Crank seal. Started about 1:30 and wrapped up about 9:30. Went really smooth. Looked to me like the valve cover had never been off.

No I replaced with the stock screws. I picked all the grease out, tapped the #3 head in with a ball peen hammer, and spun right out with the mini impact. Worked like a charm. I was sweating it a little.

Actually it's since yesterday , doin some maintenance , crank and oil pump seal.

Used it to rescue my mates landy rover from a hedge

Edit.... tried to post a pic ... but this "security breach" message kept appearing .

She got her first oil chance since I brought her back from Miami back in December.

Is this the oil I'm supposed to be using in my 3FE? I've been using standard 5w-30. Is this better? And is it thin like a synthetic, as in will it pour out of all of my leaking gaskets and seals? :)

Choosing an oil for your motor is a well conversed topic here on mud. After much reading of other threads this is what I choose. I may or may not choose this again though. Will wait to see how this works. I saved a sample to send off for blackstone testing as well. My motor has 220k on it.

I know it is. I'm just being lazy and don't want to search. :deadhorse:

Well then just use what I use......or just keep using what you've been using.....or take it to jiffy lube and trust whatever those "experts" say. ;)

After years in the industry, I'm to the point of being happy for people just plain using a quality oil but for the love of God, just change it by time or mileage.

That's the secret sauce

Rant over, thanks for listening
