Nice drawer setup. No need for the bottle opener though. The 80 already has several dual purpose openers built in. They hold your doors shut and open bottles :hillbilly:
I know but I'd rather not take a chance of breaking another bottle neck using the latches and committing alcohol abuse :D

Installed red dash illumination. Superbrightleds WLED-R-120. I wanted to try the 5 lumen bulbs so that I wouldn't get hot spots and bleed throughs like I did with the supernova matrix from autolumination. This pic from my phone is with the dimmer on full blast.

Do you know what bulbs light up the gear indicators? I have one burnt out and would like to order up the right bulb before tearing into it.

Definitive LEDs is THE thread. The small bulbs in the dash are Type 74, aka T 1-3/4 wedge base. Be careful with the led type 74s into factory wedge bases as the LEDs are a little wider. They stretch out the base a little and make it harder to put back in.

be sure to look at the last couple pages for some updated bulb suggestions

Broke down again. This time in Gila Bend, AZ, just after having the Birfield replaced in San Diego. Really loud buzzing (tire rotation speed) noise coming from the same side I had replaced last week. Crap.

Sounds like they messed something up.

New meats - getting to the last of the 255s.
But the last set last over 55k miles...

@Flank what tires are those that you got 55k out of them ?
BFG KM2 255/85-16s. Actually it is probably more, as I'm going off of the odometer and that is 6% low going from stock to these tires. The old ones were 4 1/2 years old, still have about 4/32nds on them.

I [lubed my shaft] ...

Actually, they messed everything up. Will post the story in a separate thread.
I've been following your thread. Sucks, man.

Picked up an interior spare mount locally fabbed to clean up the cargo area until I can build a swingout ...
