Finally figured out my rear brake light issue. Solved. Put back together. Installed tailgate supports. Pulled evaporator and cleaning it. Solid dirt. Not a single clean fin. Leaves and dirt piled in the bottom of the canister. I can't believe I never thought to clean this out. Kudos to whoever it was that said to do this. Picture doesn't even come close to how disgusting it was.
Did you have to depressurize the AC to do this? I would like to, but not looking to drain and refill my AC!
What was the issue? How did you resolve it?

Well, I didn't have to depressurize since I have a leak somewhere so I have no free on in my system. I followed the Haynes manual other than that. It says to have it evacuated to do it.

Well, I'm not exactly sure what the cause of the problem was. (I think there was a corroded connection in there somewhere. Didn't identify where the problem was but identified what the problem was; no continuity to the brake light.) I just bypassed the power by running a wire from the pass side brake light wire to the driver side brake light wire. Spliced and done. While I had the panels all off I cleaned up down in the rear quarters. Replaced some broken clips holding the panels on. And removed the third row seat belts.

Continued tracking the mess-of-a-wiring-job post 4bt swap. Now understand how the grid heater works.
Also, replaced the radiator fan (Spal, high performance, pull). Turns out the old one was fine, but the stranded copper postitive wire had completely oxidized at a place where the insulation was stripped to the point that there was zero continuity when tested with the multimeter. Cut the wire after that bad section and now it looks like I have a spare fan.

Dropped muffler and welded up a new support and cracks. The silence is nice. Will be able to hear the border guards now. Was my first time welding since school and -10c outside so no pictures.
Damaged the front bumper a little bit going over a pile of dirt on the road. Too much rain and mud.
Stripped and painted wheels. Getting new tires tomorrow.
I should have done this when I replaced my heater core.

I spent an hour with the hand held sprayer from the shower soaking and blowing out the dirt and debris. I said I would stop when chucks quit floating down the tub. I quit after an hour because I had had enough for the night. Will hit it again tomorrow after work and then blow it out with the compressor. The compressor didn't do much it was so clogged up.
I'm doing this with the plan of replacing whatever is wrong with my AC and also hoping that it helps with my defrost (or lack of) issues. I have to imagine that it will.
