Finally did my PHH, what a pain. Also changed out some rad hoses, new cap, rotor, wires and plugs, fixed a few cracked vacuume lines, found one of my rad support bolts was almost undone, and FIXED MY REVERSE LIGHTS!!!!!!! oh man, so happy with that one. Round grey plug under the PHH was unplugged! (Someone previous had been in there, likely doing an earlier PHH swap as it was not the original hose.) All my dash lights work again except for "D" but I'm fine with that! New set of 285/75/16's Wardens on the way from TreadWright. The unfortunate side of all this work was when my truck ate my 6" long 3/8" extension.... Right down the back between the back of the engine and the firewall... :censor: Any ideas how to get it out (other than removing the body) ?

Rewired my winch power & grounds with Anchor Marine 1/0 cable and added an inline kill switch. I also replaced the A, F1 & F2 cables with 1AWG cable.

Sorry, didn't take any pics of the work but I did snap this one the next day.

Had some time and replaced the starter that was giving me intermittent problem. PO went the cheapest route and used Bosch reman starter.....think that's worth rebuilding for spare? I am thinking it is just pure junk.

Qball, I wouldn't. That's my two cents.

Replacing the lift gate struts and tail light wiring pigtail.

And changing the transmission fluid and filter.

It's 12 degrees out. I'm going to let the heater warm up the garage for a little bit first...

Oh and pull the evaporator and clean it.

Wow, ok, post some more pictures, that sounds awesome! Especially the surfboards on the roof and the lions. Damn, I wish I could drive across that pond!

I've been away. Tanzania's a special place. Well worth a visit if you have a month of free time and a boatload of cash. Didn't take the surfboards on the safari. Just to the beach. Here's a few more from this part of the world.

Yeah, pretty much. The palapa is Gonzaga Bay, where we camped overnight in perfect, calm weather. The rest are Rincon, on the far side of Bahia de los Angeles. We lease a little casita on the beach over there. It's nice enough to justify a 4 day weekend trip, which it was. About 12 hours door-to-door from my house in SD county.
