700 mile roundtrip to the beach...the 80 didn't miss a beat as we rapidly approach 200k miles. Saw another built 80, exchanged waves, a few stockers, and 3 60 series along the way for those keeping score.

Beast 6! Ole nasty juniper 0!

And then a bit of wheeling on the property.

Went exploring parts of Alaska. Ran into black and brown bear prints all over the trail. Decided to camp anyways.

Shockervang and I went camping at East Park Reservoir for memorial weekend. we tested our homemade awning, using a tarp and tent poles. It withstand winds up to 15mph. No wheeling allow so it sucks.

since it was a long weekend got a few things done that were long overdue. New oem radiator, water pump, blue fan clutch, thermostat, hoses, belts, power steering pump, front and rear pads, all drivetrain fluids drained and replenished with royal purple. And to top it of, found my auxiliary battery dead. Must of been dead since last year when I put in photman's bracket and the 150amp alternator and finally realized my bluesea charging relay can only handle 120amps. Blah!!!

Drove 300 miles round trip for a great weekend at our friends ranch in Junction TX. Although it rained the whole time, we had a blast playing dominos and spending time together! Not a lot of off road excitement, but the old girl made it there and back just fine (but slowly...3FE) and the family all enjoyed the ride.

  1. Dropped headliner and sunroof
  2. Cleaned out all four drain tubes (rear passenger tube was clogged)
  3. Installed HAM radio antenna through roof and routed cable through passenger A pillar
  4. Lined roof with megamat sound deadener
  5. Lined roof with Reflectix foil backed bubble wrap for temperature insulation (likely best $20 spent on truck to date)
  6. Put sunroof and headliner back up in truck
  7. Removed Proline front bumper and installed ARB bumper (that was a PIA job)

@vladi80 Did you have to modify the 2nd battery tray any to make it fit with the PAIR line coming off the air filter? I have looked hard at this on my '94 and have been under the impression that it would not work.

It was a very tight fit with the silencer air filter box in place as the hose kinks into the battery tray so I end up removing it and running the hose direct.

This is the first towing I've done with my LC. Very nice and easy!
