^^^^Very nice photo. Orange dress really shines in comparision to all the other colors. Very artistic.

Finally found time to replace my belts. I only had 1 alternator belt on and it was in terrible shape and squeaked like crazy. The damn adjuster bolt for the alternator was a pain in the ass but I think it would have been much easier if I had ratcheting combination wrenches.

It's nice how quiet everything is now that I have new OEM belts on.

Went to the red hills area for exploration. Didn't need the lockers but there's plenty of trails to explore. Went on a quick hike too and found an old mine shaft.

Couple trails between Mammoth and June. Nothing terribly advanced but the snow and ice on the inclines mad things interesting.

R+R Head gasket and timing chain, steering pump rebuild COMPLETE!!!!!

Got it running today!!!

Another lesson learned: beck/arnley parts don't always fit right. Crankshaft timing gear didn't fit at all.

I finished the two front seat leather replacement I bought from Metric TLc. What an incredibly quality product! It really isn't a difficult job either. I give it two bananas.

Added the front lower basket bar of my roof rack plan to bend up another that will go from above the rear doors around the back to the passenger rear door The flipped low profile rack will eventually carry my hi lift on one side backup work lights on the back and LED light bar on the front but one step at a time

Removed the hood wind deflector. I think it looks much better, couldn't stand how much dirt it would catch in there either. image-109597725.webp image-3038180956.webp Also replaced headlight bulbs but I am not sure how much brighter they are because it is day time. I got the Sylvania Xrravision - anyone? image-2800606331.webp

I also fixed one of my rear seats because it was not latching to the floor. Wound up that in addition to the plastic cover missing from the latch, there was no snap ring to keep the link arm on - zip tie to the rescue!!!

Got it smogged and passed! :bounce::bounce2:

I finally replaced the lazy hood struts (I got from the classifieds) and my driver side seat belt!

Nothing fancy, plastidipped the grill, removed the rear handle, dropped the spare, trimmed a metal ladder I had and moved the spare inside the cargo area after cleaning it up. Reused the old handle and moved it up front. Happy with the results.

Edit: added a night poser pic for a better view of the grill

I added the winch tray and cut the fairlead hole, then Sanded and painted the bumper I built last weekend. Still have to mount it. I've been to busy ogling these new TrailGear rock assault chromoly axles that arrived image.webp
