Took her to a lake to get in some fishing

Did a little hanging

And when I got home, my new steering damper arrived, so I installed it. With the new TRE's, alignment, and tire balance, my front end should be nice and tight.

Socal. That's Crowley Lake in the Eastern Sierra. I have been going there ever since I was a kid.

Great pics of the fishing. We were up in Parker and Gull Lake a few weeks ago. Love the Eastern Sierra's.

Window Wrap

Installed some window wrap on the rear window to help keep the fridge cooler, sun was beating in and the exterior of fridge was about 110. Also detailed the interior, it had been over two years.. smells good again..

that is neat! is there an 80 series specific kit? I just searched for it and I can only find rolls that need to be cut to shape.

I found the film at Fast Signs, it is a perforated vinyl laminated with another clear plastic. You can see right through it on the inside but very difficult to see into the back.. It block 90% of the light along with the factory tint. The fridge will run much cooler and more efficient using less battery power. It gets hot here in the south!

I also put 3m UV and Heat resistant films on the sunroof, DS and PS windows in the bronze tint, also a 10% tint on the front windshield that blocks all uv and most of the heat.. made a huge difference..

Here is a close up of the vinyl I put on the back windows. If you go with a not laminated vinyl it will get dirty very fast and will not clean well.

Nice I like the idea
I assume you could get it in other colors including black?

Installed my hand throttle.

I really like that idea for keeping the fridge cold. Wouldn't even be noticable in black.

ding ding. Looks cool in white on white tho.

I got the white as it reflects more heat, the black would attract the heat and not be as cool.. would look funny on a darker car though with the white.. The black would still reduce the heat but I bet the window itself would get really hot. The inside of the vinyl is actually black so when you look out from the inside you can see black vinyl not white.
I got the idea from my daughters preschool, the front doors have the stuff on them but with text and different colors.. The guys at fast sings can print anything or make them any color.
