Ran a few miles of the Rubicon, from 89 to the observation point.

FOTR was giving the trail some love, so the springs were full and buck island was packed.

The 80 never skipped a beat and my buddy was amazed at what it could do. Tested the sliders pretty well and bent the front bumper into the body. Dragged alot of ass with a full size spare and trailer hitch but got home with no serious damage.

Can't wait to run it pint to point!

Also got the KM2's mounted that have been in my garage for a while. They are loud, have funny wear patterns but I can't complain, I paid $50 for all of them.

Finally Wheeled in Hollister SVRA Park, CA

3-Wheeled that is. Two months after the purchase, some PMs, and upgraded to 285 BFG AT. I wheeled in Hollister SVRA park for the first time on a Friday afternoon. Surprisingly, I was the only person on the trail. Went about 1/4 way up "truck hill" got scared as not one else there to watch my back. Very nice SVRA park with nice scenery, highly recommended for Bay Area folks.

Cleaned my under carriage and figured where im leaking oil from... and finally got my Metal Tech 2" coil spacers and put them in today with some slight trouble!!

Heres my friend after about an hour of work, still in good spirits!!

Been longer than this weekend but here goes...

Drove the width of my great state twice, through the stomping grounds of Billy the Kid and Geronimo, a dormant volcano or two, a bathroom key attached to a 6 lug wheel,135 3d archery targets, a black bear, and more elk than I have ever seen in my life. All with my son sitting in the back seat hopefully learning that there's more to life than an Ipod.

Had head gasket and some PM done by Robbie Antonson in Boulder Co and then drove home to Sacramento. 1200 miles in 2 days. Ran like a champ the whole way. I enjoyed the cheap gas in Wyo.

Loaded up the bikes and rode the Swamp Rabbit trail. Man it was hot out today.

Installed some new oem plug wires and cap and rotor. Got rid of the aftermarket junk that was on there. Man it runs smoother!

Pulled the boat out of the lake with her and replaced the water pump in the lower unit. Then spent a couple days on the lake with a cool running boat, literally running cool with the new pump. The boat is 12 years older than the 80.

Just spent 17 hours doing wiring projects...almost done.

I tore apart the front end of the LX and rewired almost everything I've done in the past to clean up the routing and to add in relays to be smarter.

Started with the front A/C fan. I used a window heater switch and figured out which were the power and ground. This replaced the cheapy PepBoys green switch that was on there and looked stupid. Its been there for three years and it was time to go. Much cleaner looking now and the icon label works for it. I add the relay near the radiator overflow tank and re-routed the wiring for the fan. I just need a spade terminal for a 12Gauge cable and it will be ready to go. Later one it will be a simple addition to do the Sumotoy mod to go over the A/C hi/lo switch.

At the same time I did the turning signal mod which replaced the wiring and pigtails for both sides. After finally figuring out how in the heck to get the terminals out it was pretty quick. All in all this was a good mod to do. The only thing I would like to add would be a small side marker light.

Took apart my driver's side door switch. Complete all the way down to the boards. Then cleaned up everything. Lots of corrosion all over the place. Got everything cleaned up and put back together but it didn't solve my rear door lock issue the way I was hoping.

Since I had everything open I figured I would swap out the old Slee headlight harness with the NEW Slee headlight harness. I did one side but I still have one side to finish. I'm freaking exhausted now so I will finish that tonight.

Took apart the dash and glove box. Took out the Scion radio. Got the illumination working finally so I'm happy there. While I was there I installed the Firestick Splitter so that I can share one antenna on both the radio and the CB. My antenna kept breaking so I got tired of replacing it and never did again. Now I am bypassing it and going through the CB aerial. I also mounted the cool antenna mount from a fellow mudder and hooked up the FireStick antenna. All I need is the coax cable to run from the Splitter to the Antenna and I am good to go.

Took apart the A/C panel and cleaned off the boards to make sure everything was still in working order. Dusted the sensor and just took a Q-tip to everything.

Headed to a lake at 10,000 feet in the Wind River Range. I had the trail all to myself except a lot of 4 wheelers. Busted my drag link, crushed my steering stabilizer and mangled my front bumper. That's the short list. Rocky Road sliders performed well. Diff locks wouldn't engage when I wanted them to. Had to use throttle instead. No lift on bald 255/85's.

Ran the IPod cable through the console.
Installed the microphone in the pocket above the radio.
