Got my Blackstone back. Looks like the high levels were due to new bearings(had been replaced when I bought it). So I'll replace them again at 300k

Had a massive loss of power getting on the freeway after work today and notice an unusual noise under the hood pulled over and checked it out the lower exhaust line on the egr valve blew off. I was stupped on why that would cause a loss of power so I drove to get a new line put it on and still massive loss of power and it wasn’t shifting right. After thinking about it I did have a cat that was rattling when at stop lights that I didn’t hear anymore so I took a hammer and gave it some love taps and the power was back. So needless to say it’s time for some exhaust.

Swapped the clapped out drivers seat and the center console for a Scheel Mann off eBay and a console from Delta. Still have passenger’s seat out to fix those gears.

Here’s the amazing part: I’ve owned five different LCs and EVERY SINGLE ONE has coughed up shell casings and lip balm from the POs when I tore up the interior. Every. Single. One.

This one had a bonus gummy worm of unknown age.

I installed a used EMS exhaust and added an AEM AFM to monitor the engine. The EMS was 409 stainless and a bit rusty so I covered it in high temp Rustoleum ceramic paint.

Going from 2.25" to 2.5" doesn't seem like much but there's definitely an unexpected performance increase. It's very possible the cat on my previous exhaust was clogged.

Thats funny. I found .22 shells and casings, some 30-06 casings, and a whole hand full of steel BBs under the gas pedal.
 
Installed the dissent bumper, need to cut the inner fender/core support to clear the 37s annd make it look cleaner, moved the ac dryer up but will probably need to rotate it or something. Then I decided to pull her in the garage and get ready for the engine swap next weekend.

I gave the Land cruiser back to my kid yesterday, I had it for a few days to work on a few maintenance items and she called me Friday morning and said dad I missed the Land cruiser can I have it back

Looks great that is my choice for a front bumper. Did you go without the fog light cut outs? Also how long did you wait?
