Stripped the feet off some trashed leather factory seats and whipped up some 1.5" x 3/16" strip metal into brackets to glue said feet onto for these old Recaros

Finally printed out some custom oil change stickers for my 80. I'm really happy with the way they turned out, so I figured I'd see if anyone else wanted any. If there's interest, I'm going to order another batch of these reusable, dry erase stickers - one set with "kilometers" and one set with "miles". Cool build there. I wasn't aware there was a Lexan 80 series body available. I've got a similar build in progress with a Team Raffee FJ80 hard body on a VS410 chassis with custom GCM Racing axles for a proper passenger side offset front diff and radius arms. Yours looks a lot more capable than mine will be.

Oh, and got (converted) 18,5 MPG going 50-55 mph with the loaded trailer, including several traffic jams and some hefty elevations. I love Diesels.

Had a bit of an exhaust issue, the pipe broke off the collector. Started shopping for a replacement but soon realized the cost was not currently in the budget. Apparently you need to buy the collector and cat as one unit. Never tried OEM, but aftermarket was running around $750.00 CDN (that's like $100.00 USD... joking). So literally pieced together something that worked, not sure for how long, but it's working. I love welding rusty pipe

I didn't think snowmobile trailers were rated for 6000 lb capacity......

Those types of trailers are very common in Europe. I would venture to say they are similar to Australia, in the sense that they are very strict on how much weight people are hauling vs. the trailer capacity.

The trailer ist rated for 3500kg gvm, empty trailer weighs 850kg, a stock HDJ80 2400kg. Completely legal.
The 80 series legal tow capacity over here is between 2,9 and 3,5 (metric) tons, depending on model year and type of hitch used. Everything above 3,5 tons behind a passenger car would require air brakes on the trailer and a pile of paperwork.

Added a 105-series downpipe and flowmaster universal cat to the previously installed OEM style replacement brexhaust muffler this weekend. I put a temporary elbow off the muffler until I run it the rest of the way over and behind the axle. I will likely swap to a more exciting muffler at some point but I am undecided on which model.
It is a tight fit between the landtank double cardan driveshaft, metaltech slider bracket, and gray industries t-case crossmember skid.
Up and over, I had to hammer the floorboard in a bit under the passenger side to make room for any vibrations or movement.

Found this gadget to aid in keeping adult beverages cold and accessible without having to get into the fridge. Welded it to a blank hitch bar shank from Amazon and stuck it in a Gamivitti spare tire receiver mount. Decent setup. Giving it a test run this weekend then will clean up welds and take for powder coating. Pretty pleased so far. We’ll see how it handles the weight of ice and etc.
