Received my collector plates for my 91 on Friday, no more registration fees for me!!!
I went to do Antique Plates for my 96 last week.

Turns out, in the state of KS, a vehicle must be 35 YO in order to qualify as "antique".

I was disappointed, to say the least......

That sucks! I have to admit though as I get older 96' models sure don't seem old, especially since I drive one daily!

In KS can you reuse an older license plate that matches the year of the vehicle?

Gotta pay to make big power I guess

I feel your pain, exhaust for my Raptor is about the same price. I'm just glad i do not have an airplane, my dad and brother spent $8k to replace the exhaust on their Cessna 182.

Drained and filled the fluid in my rear diff, greased my u joints and shafts.

I'm almost embarrassed to post this. I think it was time for new plugs ...

The good news is that it was still running smooth and regularly getting 15mpg on the highway.

Over Thanksgiving break I put new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, PCV valve (all OEM), and then replaced front rotors, pads, repacked bearings, and bled the entire brake system. The truck has 342K currently, and now I should be good for another 100K :).

You guys think with the seats down I can fit 4 285/75/16's in the back? I'm getting 315's put on Friday and debating stuffing the tires in the back or taking my truck down.

New shoes today. Had to cut the smashed in rear bumper off to get the spare dropped. Have to cut the frame tails and build the 4x4 labs kit next.

Yes, you can.

They will search it to make sure it's not used elsewhere, then you pay for the plate you provided, just as if they supplied it, so $45 custom plate fee.

I was going to this for my Studebaker, but I couldn't find just the right one for what I wanted. So, I opted for the antique plate with year and make since no one knows what the hell it is......

Washington allows it too. We call it near of manufacture plate. My daughter's 66 f100 and my 68 mustang have them.

I put gas into mine, wait that isn't something we just do on the weekend it is done everyday... LOL!!!
