I'll hit you up next time I make the trip. It was a great drive.
Ya, I like the route you took. :D

Welp, you know how to find me if you're in the neighborhood. :D

We spent about a week wandering around in Death Valley.

No, since the truck was built before 1FZ was in production, the firewall was crowded with misplaced frt & rr heater hoses, heater valve, AC line, etc.

3fe to 1fz-fe?

If that is what you are doing than you should document everything for others to reference.

Started pulling old OBA the PO installed a long time ago(me ) surved it’s purpose I suppose. While in there realized how much magniusium chloride is just tearing up the underside of the 80. WOW, Hopefully just surface damage but note to self, after playing in the snow wash off immediately....

Fluid Film or Woolswas the sh*t out of that underside!!! Open up the plastic plugs and shoot some in the rockers as well. I’ve been doing that and it’s amazing how well it works...I am in Minnesota and they salt like crazy here.

Replaced this ole rickety fan clutch. Found my noise lol, I think the bearing had seen better days. Put the blue AISIN in its place 🤙🏻

You are lucky that did not destroy the radiator, fan shroud, hood and transmission cooler lines.

That's what I call Land cruiser lucky. Anything other than a cruiser and it would have failed catastrophically and left him stranded somewhere.

That valve cover looks a bit out of place. :hmm:
