I've been getting really burnt out on vacuuming my pups fur out of the truck and since I'm far too cheap to buy an actual cargo liner/floor mat I came up with this solution. I grabbed some foam puzzle mat from Walmart for $15 and made a little cargo mat that extends from the second row floor board back to the rear hatch. I used a heat gun to help form the padding over the curve down onto the floor board. For 15 bucks and couple hours of trimming I'm really pleased with this solution even if it is a little :hillbilly:!

And of course the inspiration for this whole project...

Awesome! I've been wondering about doing something similar, turned out pretty nice.

Love the hound, my favorite breed !

Ouch, Sorry for that one. Any idea what caused it? Not sure I've seen one go like that before.

BTW - stay dry, I'm in the sac area and we're getting completely flooded out. It's been a drought for so long I have kids that have literally never seen this much water in their lives....

Not sure, but guessing HG was proximate cause.

Hey...more of the same, driving around with the 7 year old exploring the world...:)

I think I finally talked myself into some DEPO headlights last night. The previous owner installed some garbage aftermarket ones that don't adjust and spill light very high for some reason. It hasn't been too bad until last night when the snow was coming down heavy and I could barely see the edge of my hood, much less the road. I actually turned off the headlights and drove in the dark using moonlight off of the snow. I could actually see well enough to drive 40mph that way, good thing I live in bfe and don't meet many cars lol. I've never seen anything this bad, it just lit up all the snowflakes coming down right in front of me, it kind of freaked me out. This was my view out of the front with the headlights on.

Drove the truck to town multiple times amid the heavy rains here in the Santa Cruz mountains. Tried to hit every puddle to wash the bottom of the truck. :hillbilly:...amazing what a weekend storm with eight inches of water does after three weeks of rain. Plenty of mud and rock slides to dodge.

On the positive side, Lexington Reservoir looks to be ready to overflow, as it has risen more than ten feet since Saturday...hasn't been this high in at least six years.

Yeah, what a difference! We went to look at a house at the southern end of that reservoir last weekend and it was raining cats and dogs!

If you ever see a white LC with a white RTT on 35's and armor. That's me. We have friends who live off Summit Rd. so we're in the area often.
