Wheeling and camping at Flag Pole / George Washington National Forest. Made my Venison Camp Stew for everyone!

Been MIA on this thread for a while (life is crazy). Anyway, been doing a ton of work on the Blue Whale lately and got a couple good wheeling trips in and a visit to @beno to cut the sliders off the Raisin. They are all welded up with new legs on my truck and I got to put a few of my own dents in them at Windrock. I also got my new tires mounted and finished cutting and trimming the front fenders. Anyway, here are some pics.

I need to align my front end still. I tweaked the tie rod and the ends are frozen. Been spraying with PB and will continue each night this week, then attempt to move it again Saturday with a bigger pipe wrench.

Nothing to the truck, but I did buy a new toy so I can work on the truck.

Also mounted my tube bender in its new home

A three stall garage must be nice!! Hey, which tube bender do you have? I have looked at the JD2, Pro Tools and one other cant remember the name of. Did you waste much tubing while you were learning? I can see myself standing frustrated beside a heep of mis-bent tubes. :bang:

Yum yum on the venison stew.

Had my helper monkey start removing all the trim from the rear bumper...

Then, I went through a few of these and a grinder disc...

Had some real mixed feelings about cutting a perfectly good frame...

I probably won't feel so bad after this beautiful beast of a bumper gets installed.

Sure is nice having a 3 car garage, I actually have room to walk now! I have the JD2 Model 3 with a die for 1.5" sch 40 pipe. I haven't done many bends where I needed exact precision, but it can be a bit tricky. The instructions do a good job of explaining it all. You're supposed to have a reference piece with scribe marks and where you should start the tube in order to get the bends you want. This was my first "real" bend and it wasn't too hard to figure out.

Hot Wrench always gets things off when in doubt ! heat it with the "Hot Wrench " then use the pipe wrench to get them off...
