The Toyota dealership in El Cajon, CA has a 1970 FJ40 in amazing original condition sitting in their showroom with something like 3,833 original miles on it.

My 80 has gone there for parts a number of times!

Beautiful.
I wonder what this thing would be worth on the open market..

Installed the 4x4 Labs front bumper. Going to do some touch up painting then I will post pictures. I really like the change though, changes the overall look of the truck. Selling my stock bumper if anyone needs one

I installed a $25 heated seat for my lovely bride. Have been dinking with it since last weekend, but finally figured out how to make it work.

Then I took my lovely bride for a walk along the Main Donau trail; it's a trail that links the Main and Danube rivers in Bavaria.

Winter is just starting to come off the land, and some places along the way are super creepy.

The walk was about 3 hours, but on the way home, I was able to go off road to a ghost town I know about from 10 years ago. It's pretty light off roading, except the ruins of the town are buried in a thicket. Got some respectable trail pinstriping in the process.

I passed emissions in Nashville, TN. Pretty pumped about it. It was my first time to ever take an emissions test. HC was 156- limit is 400. CO was 0.46% - limit is 4%.

I'm really thankful for this forum. 6 months ago I was debating whether or not to keep the cruiser around (95, magic dial, stock suspension & tire size, 240k) . It needed some work and since I live in an apartment, there's only so much I can do by myself. Looking here on mud inspired me to keep the truck around.

First I did the resistor mod to take care or EGR CEL. Sure fixing it right would be nice, but our budget is tight and there's no pinging with good gas, so I skimped here. This fixed all the weird idle issues and made the truck run way smoother.

Second I reached out to some good people and found a great mechanic that's been working on Cruisers full time since the mid 80's. Awesome dude, that does great work. He replaced all cooling system components with OEM parts, replaced distributor, and a couple more minor things.

My truck's running better than it did five years ago. This forum has inspired me not to dwell on making money 24/7 and go enjoy life. Now to find some trails that won't beat up a stock truck ;)

Forgot to mention I also changed the oil with Mobile 1 0w-40 and OEM filter. The truck seems to run smoother than the Castrol GTX I was using before. We'll see how much it drinks.

Dude I thought about it seconds too late. I watched her second knee cap just shoot out and slowly pull behind her knee it was crazy. My pour wife was screaming and all I could do was try and calm her and hope the knee cap popped in on its own. When I saw her leg start turning in a way a leg is not supposed I knew it was going to be bad. She got lucky. The knee cap just started sliding back into place by itself.
I see a ton of nasty, gnarly stuff @ my job but that'd of made me puke!!!!!! Glad she's ok.

Drove the the peninsula to see the family before spring break in Cali. Also fixed my busted window switch with zipties and a drill.
