Filled up with gas at $1.45/gal. Then loaded up some refrigerator boxes from work to donate to the school I used to work at for some projects.

And took out my ear buds so @Dubbinchris doesn't have a meltdown about driving with them in.![]()
And this is what a Texan looks like.
I got my monstaliner samples in, so I thought I'd take a pic for comparison. ML outbreak on the left, midnight special on the right against the factory 8ko night shadow pearl. Not sure I like either one, but I'm leaning towards midnight special. I really like the factory paint, but I could monstaline a few vehicles for what it would cost to fix the hood and roof, not to mention all the other scratches. It's pretty tough to match a metallic base/clear combo with one color

It's going to be blue, one way or another. It's really hard to tell from the samples what the finished product would look like. I've seen some trucks done in the darker one and they look fairly decent.No. And no.
I'm definitely doing the whole truck. I didn't want to do the door jambs, but I'm going to have to more than likely.
Good idea, its probably way easier to match the flat monstaliner color than to get the monstaliner to match the factory color, especially in my case.IF I ever decide to Monstaliner an 80 (I was very close to ordering it but didn't) I will Monstaliner the whole thing including the rockers but then rattle can the jambs a color that is close. In a flat or semi gloss. Easy to touch up.
But having sprayed the bottom half of my truck with Rustoleum rattle can in flat black I found it really easy to touch up when scratched. Not sure I will Monstaliner my 80 now.
Hmm, I don't know. Does your Cruiser look like it gives a care?Lately I've been having wicked ideas of monstalining DILLIGAF (new name for the rig.. anyone know what it means?) in Gulf Livery.
Thoughts?
I just sprayed John Deer Blitz Black right over the Al's liner, I don't see why you couldn't get the tint close and just spray over the top the color you want. almost 5 years now and everything still looks like it did on liner day 1Good idea, its probably way easier to match the flat monstaliner color than to get the monstaliner to match the factory color, especially in my case.
If you insist on 1 of those colors, I say the 1 on the left.I got my monstaliner samples in, so I thought I'd take a pic for comparison.
