I'd purchased a NATO metal gas can at a local car parts store for just under $30 a month or so back. I filled it with fuel a week or so ago, and drove around with it in back.

I noted no smell of fuel during this test, so I poured it into my tank today. It has a spout that is self vented, and I was amazed at how clean the pour was. I couldn't even smell the gas when pouring it into the tank.

I did note it was slightly slow, but overall I found it to be a good container, despite its affordable price. I will pick up at least one more to extend my range. While I can get fuel for $2.39 on post, off post it is significantly higher.
Thanks to CARB regulations and the Children’t Gasoline Burn Prevention Act, these are like $100+ here in CA...

Hahahahaha.

How much is a gallon of water going for?
More than gas... (almost :P )

I saw more than the usual amount of hags with silicone and fake coated fake-ness
and that's just the men here, you should see the women.

but I didn't see any more attractive women than anywhere else I've been. I don't think Cali can even TOUCH places like Luzerne, Switzerland or Salzburg, Austria for the female hotness quotient. I would put Orange City or Pella Iowa against ANY California town of 50,000. Pure blooded Dutch six foot fashion models, who don't even know how gorgeous they are.

You should see Holland.

snort!

You should see Holland.

I have, good sir.

China doll complexions, blue eyes and cheek bones you could cut a man's throat with. I once had lunch with a group of KLM stews who left me feeling limp and spent for the experience. The dove grey jackets, pillbox hats and lined stockings with laughing, flirtatious eyes, sparking with life.

But that is the good Irish whisky speaking.

Well, I'm getting there with the rig... Sorta

New as of this weekend....
2.5 OME lift and (5) 305/70/16 K02s.

However.... Need an axle rebuild and viscous coupler.... And wife decided to rip the passenger door handle off like she was arm wrestling a silver-back guerilla.

Oh and dear previous owner of this rig.... Do not let me ever meet you in person... I hate people that neglect their rigs almost as much as I hate thieves, rapists and murderers.

(Being slightly facetious of course)

Back to making money for more maintenance....

Lock nut came loose on PS wheel. It's odd because I just checked this about a month ago. Thinking maybe my wheel bearing is going out.

Started feeling it a few days ago. Felt like low air in one tire. The. Today got a little squirrelly on the Frwy when it was on uneven road.

Left the front axle and sure enough, play in the PS tire.

Doh! Isn't that the one I torqued to 25ft/lb?

I torque mine way more than 25. Not sure if it is right, but seems to do the trick for me and does not seem to overheat. I seem to have to go in there every couple of years anyway.

Clearly your anal retentiveness doesn't apply hub nuts... :flipoff2:

Pimptastic!
Was planning on buying some Escape Gear covers but saw these at Costco for $50 each. Fit pretty good and don't smell too bad.

Probably still gonna buy some sturdier covers tho. These are gonna get diiirty!

No it doesn't. I replaced tires and wheels on my 60 and Lexus at the same time and the tire shop swapped them. I didn't realize until just recently that they were wrong because I flat out wasn't paying attention :(
