What the heck, where are the grammar police on this one?

I think I need to go to bed. I had to edit another post on the previous page before the grammar police got on my case again.
Don't go, you're the only one getting this thread any closer to 723... Don't give up lol

Your snow is kind of funny color. And you guys are going to freeze to death dressed like that...

I don't get any thing fun where I am :crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:. Not usually much snow in the winter mostly ice, and no sand or mountains nearby. All we have around here are mud holes filled with rednecks. And IH8MUD :p. I see a move to better scenery in my future.... Everyone's pictures on here make me jealous.

Late afternoon on the leeward side.

Took a drive to see how the new castER bushings felt. Still waiting on some new OEM bushings and control arm hardware to cross the ocean, but wanted to feel out the new bushings and new tires (BFG 285s)!

First drive after working on it is always satisfying. Warm fuzzies and what not. Clean ride!

You are no kidding getting serious work done on that rig.

IMO, 285s are "just right" on a light wheel/expedition/daily driver LC, unless you can find affordable pizza cutters.

Edited to add: Did I miss the thread where you put that roof rack on? What kind is it?

Yeah, never posted anything about the rack or snorkel install. The rack is a homemade deal and just a temporary placeholder until I get a more robust one. It's just Thule racks with some unistrut bolted to it. The husband got pretty creative with the design and painted it black. It's pretty solid, holds plenty surfboards and our canoe....but it's kinda load when driving.

Spent the day on the welder, bender and grinder fitting scrub bars, which required defacing of the pristine powdercoat on the bullbar  CBF filling up the spray gun, so painting can wait until next weekend. Used a slightly different method of attachment, CNC'd roll cage joiners, basically making the sliders, scrub bars and bullbar into a partial exo cage, short of the tube bending, these should take a fair bit of punishment. Here's the eBay link 4 x 40NB PIPE Roll cage Joiner Weld On Tube Coupling for Mild Steel. Advantage of having a mate give you a hand, you can sneak hydration breaks in, for safety of course, it's been 40C for the last 2 weeks here

She once said she wouldn't mind a Heep. I didn't have to say anything...my son beat me to it. His response "Oh, you want to be like Barbie?! That's cute." My daughter, the feminist, hates Heeps.

I'll probably get flamed for correcting the grammar/spelling of the pretty girl but... :flipoff2:

And the Thule bars with unistrut are pretty solid set ups. I prefer a lot of the homemade, simple racks over the store bought ones. But when I finally have the cheddar to purchase a rack I will buy one from Trail Tailor aka @reevesci. His craftsmanship and professionalism are top notch.

I'm going to order new OME coils from my 80 today. Couple of questions because I don't want to read through the million threads on springs. Which ones are "stock" height (which will probably net me 1.5" because of 23 year old springs). I don't think I want "heavies" or whatever because I don't have a ton of armor. And who should I buy them from? Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters? Slee? Thanks for doing the work for me. Back to your weekend after you have answered my questions. Thanks. :flipoff2:
