I thought you had a 62, is this 60 yours as well? Is there a thread on it, that looks exactly like where how I want mine to go.

It is a 62, just did the 60 front swap this weekend. No build thread on it.

So it's yours? Looks great, I can't wait to get a set of km2's, they look awesome with the 40 steelies. Cool battle damage, looks well used

Yes this is my 62, sorry for the confusion. Swapped frond ends on a "wonder if I'd like it" whim, I'll see if it grows on me. 13 years of battle damage, all with a story. Now trying to fix rust spots before they get too bad.
Full float rear sitting in garage waiting to install next.

I worked on rebuilding the top end of my engine. Pair of blown head gaskets.

.

Ouch! but cool

Those heads look new, are they or did you do some good cleaning? And which heads are they?

From a square eyed 62 owner, much better with round eyes, keep 'em!!

Saturday, got the original cracked-to-pieces windshield replaced on my fj62.

I would show a pic but there is literally nothing to see....the new windshield is the clearest thing I've even seen. Amazing!
(I'll probably put some pics on spike strips original windshield replacement thread)

Speaking of, I have a Scion Pioneer it's plug and play for a FJ62. Free to anyone around PDX if thy want it.

Finally decided to tackle flushing front heater core to see if that would get heat. Flush for the win! Took some doing to get heater hose back on but she is throwing hot air now!!!

I like that table idea. What suports it on the inside?

A small piece of 3mm alloy bent at right angle screwed to the bottom of the table top and then I used two boat fittings screwed to the side of the truck. You hardly notice them when the tables not fitted....

Not exactly this weekend but at the beginning of December I felw to our home in Bozeman, MT to prep the Yeti (our white 62 series) to be shipped to upstate NY because I wasn't supposed to still be here through the winter. Two weekends ago I finally recieved my beloved Yeti after it sat in sub zero temps for a month and it was philthy, completely out of brake fluid and steering fluid (hey it leaks!) with 5 lbs of air in the tires and the rearview mirror sitting on the passenger seat. I was furious as this is a fairly well maintained cruiser save the leaks I'm dealing with now. I have spent the last two weeks PM'ing the truck and it seems no permanent damage has been done. Rant over. I will be replacing/rebuilding the steering system over the next month as the weather lets up... She's sloppy!!!

On another note I am very happy it is here as we are expecting a big storm tonight into tomorrow and my 2 wheel drive work truck just doesn't cutr it in 10" of NE snow.

It's spreading.

routed the cable for the lockers.
