I was lucky enough to snag a 1up rack a little over a year ago, right before the stuff really hit the fan with the pandemic. We carry up to 4 bikes on ours (making it extra pricey!) and my wife and kids really like how easy and sturdy it is (as do I). It was used almost daily throughout the summer and fall on various adventures close to home and around our camp in VT.This weekend I got to flex the springs just a little bit and stashed my bike in the back of the truck to get some gravel miles in. I have a 1up rack on the way that should make these kinds of Saturdays much easier! The day started with me going to the shop to make sure my lug nuts were tight, to fix a broken tail light bulb, and make sure I had oil in my transfer case. I didn't have nearly enough so I topped it off and cleaned up the mess made by two different cheap fluid pumps. Then I witnessed an accident on the interstate heading into the mountains, further slowing down my day. Thankfully the days are long again and the mountains are close.

I think you’ll love it!
Those u-bolts need some serious trimming.
Don't feel too bad, I still haven't trimmed mine and my '86 FJ60 build's been finished for four years, and I've driven it to two Solid Axle Summits since then.Agreed. For all my hard core wheeling. Everyone's a critic.I almost asked the muffler guy to use his cut off wheel to trim them down while he had it out but operation was already dragging so I left it. I'll get to it someday.
Didnt realize that re-torquing knuckles is a "thing"....Got ready for a Cali BDR trip in a week or so.
Suspension/driveline lube ,new air filter ,top off fluids, add storage tie downs, replace driver's front brake soft line, retorque knuckles and u-bolts.

I've got one of those shiny things en route, too! Most likely will sit on a shelf for a bit, unless I can convince myself to take the cruiser off the road long enough for install this summer (when I'd like to be driving it).
yes!!!!! My new shiny things are being installed early next week....so excite!!!
