Gave the wagon a nice vacuum so much dust on the carpet... I'll end up replacing it sometime..
Re tightened the fan belt. There is no access to the adjusting bolt unless you take out the a/c compressor. It was pretty easy to do surprisingly.. :)

Thanks to @arcteryx I got a later model seat back with headrests. swapped that one out with my 84 version and got both recovered in leather to match the front seat leather from the PT Cruiser seat upgrade I did a couple of years ago. Upholstery shop did a great job, two day turnaround. Next mod will be three point seat belts, I have them from seatbeltplanet.com but will have to give it some planning. All my rear panels have been replaced with Waggongear sides and doors. Shouldn't be too difficult. Probably going to work on the 40 and 100 series this upcoming week tho.

Wow, that looks great! And a 2 day turnaround none the less! Hopefully you kept the original fabric?? That was in very good condition and I know people would love to have that to fix their upholstery.

Unfortunately the original fabric I had was disassembled to use for the patterns for the leather. However I have the fabric that came from the one I bought from you and the upholsterer hog tied it back onto my 1984 seat back. The assembly is available I guess. I just threw it in the storage unit with all my other land cruiser parts/junk, etc.

Finally got a winch! Used Engo 10000S with 93' of 3/8" synthetic rope.

Speaking of upholstery. Poppy goes into the shop for full upholstery install next Wednesday.

Wow! Interior looks amazing - congrats. This is on my short list of desired upgrades.

Cheers!

Helped @BJethro fix the horn. Getting ready to go for the emissions test. I feel like I'm in college again with all the prep we're doing for this test!

Installed new FF rear axle from '96 80 series:

Nice!!! That's an awesome upgrade.

Thanks, fun project too. I had 2 14 bolts ready to go in, but in the end, was defeated by the e-brake problem. With sthis swap, a working e-brake was only an 80 series ebrake cable away.

When I get out to Charlotte in April I would love to check out your 14 bolt set up with ebrake.

You're more than welcome to! The newer AAM10.5s have a factory e-brake setup very, very similar to the FZJ80.

Didn't work on anything!
Put about 600 miles on the ol' Honey Badger going up to Vermont and running up Route 100 then back down around lake Champlain and Lake George. Found a sweet moose sidecar, but unfortunately didn't see any moose (the signs had the wife excited!)

I'm really liking the new 2 1/2" exhaust, especially on the hills but my back has got me thinking some suspension work may be in order soon.
