What did you do with YOUR 3rd row seats? (1 Viewer)

For the 80 folks, where are your 3rd row seats?


I like the 3rd row. Sucks to get in and out of and sitting 4 inches off the floor with no knee/leg room works if your like 5 or 6yrs old.

That being said, do most people keep the seats in or take them out and do what with them?



One other thing about putting in new speakers. Replace the wire too? Seems like a no brainer yes, but some say it is a mofo to do an I am not one to pay someone to do something i can do myself.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance

I keep mine in all the time but I have 3 kids under 6 to haul around.

Mine are bagged up on a shelf in the garage. I'll never use them again and would like to sell them. I just haven't gotten around to it.

Having the Brady Bunch here on the weekends (no joke, between me and my fiance we have 6 kids on the weekends), mine are still in. They serve as spare tire rack during the week, and kid seats on the weekends.

Mine are tucked nicely in my folks basement. Where they stay for the time being or until more kids come into the picture...which could be soon.

I took mine out since it's usually just me in the cruiser. I'll hang on to them since I'll bet getting step kids this year.

Removed hopefully to never be installed back in the 80. But maybe as backseats in the 40 some day?

This is what happened to mine. They are wrapped up and stored. And also could be FOR SALE.

Hinges were cannibalized for their gears for the 2nd row, then stored, moved 3x, then tossed inside and sold with the truck.

Mine are wrapped up nicely in the garage. I like to think that I get better gas mileage without them!

I keep mine in the 80, frequently use them with the kids and nieces/nephews. I also have a set of tan leather ones and a set of gray cloth ones in my attic.

third row seats

i took mine out and built storage drawers, and hopefully they will never be re installed. i got one kid on the way but maybe just one more after that, so i shouldn't need it. that is now the dogs throne, although he feels more at home laying on lap in the front seat, even though he is an old yellow lab that weighs about 90lbs. but the extra space is nice with those seats out of the picture, but i have them should i ever need them again.

LOL! I like the limo idea... and the Yetti Rocks! A week out in 90 - 100 degree weather and we still have ice. Who needs a fridge

The picture makes me sad... Amara (aka Master Jedi Foofus) was hit by a car a couple of months ago and we had to put her down. We are starting to think about getting a puppy so if anyone runs across a White German Shepherd litter please let me know...

I should keep mine in but I don't. Seems like as soon as I take them out my girlfriend mentions how she needs to take 5 kids somewhere. Keep wanting to make a riser to make them functional seats in the garage instead of stacked on each other in the corner.
