The stove works okay with that setup so as not to melt the plastic door panel? I have been curious about a setup like this as it's what we need but we cook for a family of four and make some heat!
Yes, Coleman white gas stoves usually run pretty cool. The only part of them that really gets hot is the area right around the burners, the generator, and the cooking grate. The top lid, side wind breaks, and back of the stove don't get much past warm. That being said, I still left a 1-2" gap between the stove and door panel.

Rigged up a Jeep JK single arm tire carrier. Love not having to lock/unlock the carrier separately from the door. Couldn't find the other one I saw people using, found this Rampage unit for $160 on Amazon and decided to give it a shot.

Still need to play with the connecting rod length/location. Got a small bind right before full open. Also need to add edge trim to the bumper cut.

Man you need to do a FULL write up on that!!!!

If I wasn't all the way in Maryland I would drive down and pay you to do the same to mine!

How are you liking the dobinsons IMS? I'm getting it installed tomorrow!
I like them a lot. Somewhere between comfort and sport. It's my daily at the moment and it's a nice driver still. Going to load up some pavers this weekend, we'll see how it handles being fully loaded.

Big O snapped one of the studs on my wheel spacers this week and said that nobody had a stud in stock, so they just gave me the car back with only 5 lug nuts on one wheel🤦🏼‍♂️ so I got a stud and pressed it in at work. They claimed it was cross threaded on by the last person who touched it and it broke off when they were just taking the wheel off. Who knows though. Gave me a good excuse to finally buy a floor jack.View attachment 2715261View attachment 2715262View attachment 2715266
@TLar25

nice pix, bummer for the lug.
any beta on which spacers those are/were?
0.75", 1", 1.25" They look like proper hub centrics. I'm in the researching phase, there are few hub centrics in the 1" range, Bora has a 0.75" but people say they're questionably shallow for pressing in the stud. Some eBay offerings suggest true hub centric @ 1", and there are plenty of 1.25" and 1.5" (I don't want to go that deep).

Thanks and props and the trip and pix!

I patched and painted my yakima rooftop box, then mounted a 100w Renogy solar module.

I need to add a qd for the wiring, which I'll either bring down inside the snorkel or near it, to the charge controller under the hood.

The box only goes on when I'm camping or doing Cool****®
But the fridge does fine w/o solar for quick jaunts.

I may decide to add spacers to the corners as I'm not sure that I like the radius of the curves.

Nothing out of this world but I had an extra air tag collecting dust so I used double sided tape, removed the back seat foot step and hid it in there. Battery should last a year.

To get you back to your rig after mall cruising, for theft, or "why not?"

Unfortunately we didn't take many in process pics. We winged it the whole way. Didn't really expect it to work out as we were just messing around to see if it would. Surprised at how well it was fitting and ended up welding it all the way in.......but still need to figure out a few things. It has a slight bounce/vibration on bumpy roads and has a small bind right before full open.

This is the unit I used. They had a few returns listed in $160 ish range when I bought mine.

We have about 2" of clearance above the bumper. Tried to keep it low and tight. It's solid and will hold the tire weight no problem. It just transfers a slight bounce/vibration to the rear door mount. Going to try out some rubber/poly bushings to see of the helps.

I think they're Bora brand, not 100% sure though as I bought them off a guy with a 3rd gen 4runner a while ago. No issues though aside from this stud, but I blame Big O for that. They're 1.25". Lug nuts grab plenty of threads in my opinion

Update
This really sucks. Some emails and pictures shared with White Knuckle, and turns out it is a problem with where the rear bracket was welded on to the slider.

Looks like the rear bracket was welded about an inch or so too far back on the slider. This means the only way to clear the kdss lines is by pushing the slider forward an extra inch or so, which leads to the front of the slider rubbing up against the body mount.

They were super helpful and responsive today. Said they’ll get another one sent out ASAP. Gotta give them 100% for customer service.

It’s frustrating waiting so long for a product, and having to wait for another one. Gotta carve out time to pull both sliders off tomorrow, too.

Pictures for those interested.
