Worked on my GX over the weekend after picking up from Patrick at Greer Automotive Services where they put my lift on and wheels. Wired a second battery, added a switch for lights, installed ditch lights and removed running boards. Still need some cleaning up to do but my fingers are numb from the cold lol.
Greer is awesome. They also did my lift and uca's. Any pics of the switch? I'm about to add ditch and lightbar and need some ideas for a clean setup.

Designed and 3D printed these brackets to mount some rock lights under the truck. I used the factory mounting points for the running board. Have one on each side. Wired into the factory harness.
What lights did you use? Harbor freight sells some rocks lights at a decent price but I haven't found anyone who's run them yet.

Oh nice! Please post an update if you have any issues with them. Also anywhere I can find the STL that you used to print those mounts?

Will do, no I actually designed the bracket myself as it was pretty simple design. I could email you a file if you’d like, or to anyone else who doesn’t have access to a printer I could make other sets for a small fee.

Yesterday, I finished the build and install of v2 of the GXBasecamp platform. This version adds 2 inches of additional height underneath the platform (compared to our v1) and still allows for a full-length sleep platform (in conjunction with the folded 2nd row seats). Currently finalizing the plans for distribution.

Also recently added the SeatCoversUnlimited tweed seat covers to the front row.

ooo, extruded! clever!!

Nice! I like that....did it snap right up into the factory location for the tail light with no issues?
It replaces the driver side license plate light bracket. It comes with adhesive backed weather strip just like OEM as well.
You have to figure out power and ground for the camera but the light plugs into the OEM light harness.
I tapped into a 12v source for the rear wiper that is on with the key so I can view my trailer when driving, instead of just in reverse.

On Wednesday I got my new headlights and today I decided to tune them up a bit. I was going to use a 2.5 black series clear lens from TRS but it didn't perform like I was hoping. It needed too much adjusting and I just didn't have the patience. Instead I used the clear lenses from a DEPO set that were already starting to crack. So, they were useless.

Anyways, with the DEPO lenses, four tiny brass washers for lens spacing I got this much out of em. I think the bulb is a XD 6000k H11.

This is what the OEM headlight with a modified Hella H9 bulb looks like. I'm not a fan of that squirrel finder whatevers above the cutoff.

Before I ordered my new headlights I tried modifying the original ones and even though I restored the lenses they were still a little fuzzy and shined way too much above the cutoff than I care to have. This is both headlights and HID XD H11's.

I was going to do a full on quad setup but I'm still undecided on what setup I actually want. Plus I like having the option to add in a regular H11 or H9 as a backup in the winter so I can still melt the freeze or snow. Or if a component fails in the HID setup I can just throw in a halogen and know it'll still work. I forgot to take a picture of the new setup with the modified H9. It actually looks really good too. Maybe tomorrow night I'll take that picture and post it up.
