Been trying to start my pig.... would run if we nursed it (a little bit at a time poured in the carb) Has fuel getting to carb from fuel pump..... Took some fuel out of the filter...... and it was orange!!! Drained the fuel tank....Just rigged up a remote bottle.... will test it tomorrow or Tuesday...

it was a PO mod i beleve it looks real good you wouldnt know it its a mod looks like it should be like that lol

I FIRED IT UP. I wouldn't take no for an answer.
. It is dumping water and ice here, so I'll have to wait to dial it in and install the gearboxes, etc. I would do a back window like that one in a heart beat. The thought had crossed my mind before- but not even in my pea-brained head could I have made it THAT clean. Must have more on that.

Ditto- your rear window solution looks like a good one from that one small photo... Someday when there's no more gears, it may be the only solution
Now ya know with all the folks on here making stuff like the brass gears we will keep stuff going for an awful long time.

Are personalized plates outta line on vehicles? I was thinking about "DAISY", "MS PIGGY" or "FYYFF".....just wondering

Personalized plates are not out of line! I'm going to paint my Pig Panther Pink (Chrysler Color from late 60's, early 70's) and get plates that say "PNK PIG"

Got the piggy fired up after it's month and a half "holiday". Needed a boost from AAA 'cause the battery terminals were all dirty ('bout time I got something for the AAA fees). 3v loss from the positive post to the positive clamp! Took it out for a drive to get some parts for the '60. Had two folks comment on the piggy and one guy even wanted a picture.
It got an alignment too 'cause the tires were scuffing.

Over the last week, I've ordered over $1k of stuff for the beast. Got it fired up this weekend, but the carb does need a rebuild so a kit is on the way. The tires are flat and dry-rotted, so new tires are ordered--$600. Brakes are bad, so I ordered a complete MC/WC/Shoe kit-$350. Some other stuff from SOR to replace missing windows, knobs, etc. Hopefully, by next weekend, this thing should be drivable. (here's hoping...)
