Chevy 73-87- I’m guessing, as it was considered trash... Shortbed stepside, box only. Cut 8” of girth out leaving 42 x 78 1/2” honest floor, add another 16 1/4 with the someday tailgate down. A lot of consuming micro details and months of what some people thought was just another working drunk drooling and staring off into space-time on the clock has culminated here...they were probably right, in all accounts...planned about 63% out over the last week and a half and working thru the gritty nitty bs of a clean ish install... spent more hours measuring staring and imagining than grinding cutting ir welding. It’s almost like cheating...think it won’t be too fxxxed up, even. I’m betting the dogs will love it when it’s done. And I’m gunna love it cause it’ll make building the doghouse a bit easier... plus it’s gunna weigh about 500 pounds lighter...bent some fender pipes tonite. So close and so far away. The floor will be...

I only got to use part of my 55 parts truck today. My daughter locked her keys in her GX470 and we used a headliner bow to open the hood to disconnect the battery to defeat the damn alarm system holding the doors locked so I could pop the mechanical door lock by the handle.

*No innocent fj55 parts were permanently damaged during this procedure!

A little scratching on the trim paint to touch up, but didn't spring the door, or break the glass!

Finished up the weatherstripping on the Warthog

@pmccraney had the most clapped out bench seat on the planet in his pig.

His parts pig had some destroyed FJ40 seat in it.

He took them to the local upholstery shop and had them matched to his interior and we made him some seat brackets.

Turned out great. @USMC22 came up with the design. @under_psi provided the welding and cutting.

I lorded over them and gave input.

Turned out great. Console on order.

This will unbolt like a factory bench and come out like normal

Yeah the unistrut was a clutch idea from @USMC22

It allows the thing to use OEM brackets and come out as one piece like the bench
