Went looking for upholstery (at a new place) last week, anyone have suggestions or source for a closer match to factory vinyl?

Also tripped on a care package from dad, original jack & rods from his old 55, amazing considering it’s been gone since early 80’s!

No vinyl matches, but I do list a sweet fabric pattern that looks like a good match in my build thread...

Made her work- she only droopped a bit, but I forgot it was there- and sticking a foot farther back than it will. Easy 70 mph. It’s got some work to do, but starting to come together.

only very slightly. I was pleasantly surprised. The springs sat down and I was expecting a bumpy wavy ride, but after the first 15 minutes, I forgot it was there. I think the truck did too. Only a slight sluggishness in all aspects. thats with the thing not pulled in tight, too!

Over the weekend...installed new Remflex exhaust/intake gasket and rebuilt carburetor. Got her running and found out the fuel pump is bad...so I ordered a new fuel pump. Maybe next weekend she'll be on the road.

Filled the tank today. 71 l for 430 kmm it means 16,5 l/100km. Not too bad. For my friends overseas it is 14,7 MPG..
Loaded my pig with concrete.
Reinstalled the inner door after I repaired it. It meanes changed the cardboard with mdf, fixed holes and repainted it with grey bumper paint. I am quite glad with the result. Not perfect but much cleaner.
