Looks like it hasn't been hit by the rust bug, Congrats!

I did a wheel alignment south of the border, but I'm not happy with the job. Then again I was drinking with the mechanic as well, so I guess it's my fault, LOL. Any recommendations for a local shop that does wheel alignment in Tucson?

I used to have good luck with the Firestone on Ina, but the last time I went there they screwed up the alignment on my Taco.

I then went to the Firestone at the Tucson mall and he very quickly corrected the mess and did a top notch job. I'll hit that one first next time I need an alignment.

I have a lifetime alignment on the Taco and have had it aligned about a dozen times in eleven years - works out to ~ $14 per alignment (and it gets to be a better deal with every alignment!)

Thanks good to know. I do like the lifetime wheel alignment.

Painting and paint prep. Ugggghhhh!

In the middle of the longest knuckle rebuild ever. Since I wasn't in a rush I just bought the seals and would inspect as I cleaned. I've now bought new spindles, birfs, drive flanges, trunion spacers and some other stuff I forgot. I had planned on doing a quick a dirty paint job. Since the rebuild was slowed down by parts needing to be ordered I says to myself, "Self, why don't we really do a good job painting." I'm going to smack that person. I'm sure there are faster ways of doing this, but I easily have 30 hours into the paint prep. I'm sure this is an overestimate but that is what if feels like. Some of that is my fault for letting excessive flash rust form. Knowing what I know no, I'd had been better off having them media blasted or buying a set up.

Now I've run out of time to paint today so I'll have to work from home Monday or Tuesday.

Drove the 80 to a place I normally ride our quads to, a not-so-secret hilltop cave west of the Hassayampa River. Boys had a good time.

I am on Cruiser watch in Japan. Seen a few 200s and a 76 in passing riding in a cab. Heading to My Fuji on the morning and hope to see more.

Cruiser watch in Japan was surprisingly slim. I saw very few of the relative to other rigs. 200s are a big rig here, and they are a monster truck in Japanese cities compared to all the little vans they drive. I actually kinda fell in love with the little trady vans running around. They had them all packed to the brim and just flat got the work done with them.

Cool little van, and that is not a forced perspective. They are really that small.

Some random rigs. A cool 4WD van, a Supra, and a new Suzuki Jimny(Samurai).

What skids are those? What are your plans for the old one?

New product for Hudd Expeditions. Im missing a brace that needed reworked because of my O2 sensor on the custom over the frame exhaust was in the way. That said one is in the works to address my O2

Not sure at this point on the old.
