Part of me is thinking of selling it. It’s entirely too nice/original/low mileage to beat up off road. The other part of me says that’s stupid and just enjoy farting around town in it and getting thumbs up all the time from old folks.

Specs? It’s a 95% original 83 FJ60 with 125,000 original miles.
Only mods are 31” tires, airbags in the back to level it, and the common 3rd gen windshield wiper swap, Hella H4 headlights and LED cluster lights. Other than that, it’s totally stock. Even has the original am/fm radio in it.
I have 99.9% of its entire maintenance history dating back to to July of 1983. It’s not a show truck by any means, but it’s a very very nice driver quality truck.

Yeah right @blatant , just for curiosity sakes ;)

FWIW @BlackCat, I had a pristine original FJ60 with 83k miles. I came up with a dozen reasons why it didn't make sense to keep it and so I sold it. Still regret it. One reason is all you need to keep it. The smile it puts on the face. That's hard to put a price on or any logic to.

On the way to work. I've put a whopping 866 miles of this on it. Still cool to see it roll up to this.

Really geeking out about this. But haven't had a functional speedometer gage since I've owned Uma till now, complete with LED lights

I finally installed my sway bar drop brackets. The LC handles so much better.

Nice! I replaced mine when I did the original rebuild back in the 80's. Noticed the odometer stuck at 79k on the 2018 Classic Cruise (don't remember if there is a 1 or 2 ahead of that).... :hmm:

Finally took-off the 800 lb boat anchor (i.e. rear bumper from PO), painted the original frame bumper and got new tail lights. Still need to wire it up but man what a difference!

Old bumper..., need some scrap for welding practice!

I just drove it for the first time in 2 weeks. It always puts a smile on my face. It’s been dieseling a bit after shutting it off lately, so I leaned the idle circuit a bit which seemed to fix it so far. Carbs are a nightmare, haha.

Swapped back to OEM wheels after dechroming & then painting a poor man's Collector Edition scheme.

Also got the roof rack back on after removing some time ago to Monstaline the roof white.

Do you like monstaliner

I've only used it for one application thus far, but really like it so far.
I plan on doing the whole of my truck in white and smurfadelic
