Should I come over to help figure out what you need for the 100 ?

Surprised it took this long. Someone pick up a solid ride for a great price. If available let me know if you want some help on the 100?

Thanks, guys. I'll definitely take you both up on that offer. I've already got a list of things that need to be done, and I'm pondering a rear bumper :hmm:

If you wheel it you will tear the bumper and then the choice is easy.

The passenger corner of the rear bumper is already messed up. So I don't need to wheel it.

Just curious how long it will take to get a Dissent rear bumper.

Rock sliders installed!

Who made those sliders? Welded on?

I have a friend Ty Snow. Works out of his house in Gilbert. Yes weld on $375 installed. He also did all of the rear tire work for pretty cheap.

He is a Toyota guy. Has a 4 runner rock crawler that he runs in races and he has a camping 4 runner. Does not do fab work for jeeps

Yesterday I had an oil change and had the High Low range fixed. @LandCruiserPhil suggested it was a bent rod that went to the transfer case. Luckily it was not.

Problem: Could not shift from high gear to low gear. Started about 3 months ago and got increasingly harder to ship until it was impossible to get it in low. (could get to N)

Solution: Go in from the top and remove the rod and some plate attached to transfer case. They were frozen on there with rust and water had gotten up there somehow. The shop was able to heat everything up and remove the parts. Greased everything up and put it back together. It now shifts better then when I bought it.

Took it to Lexus of Chandler to have an airbag module replaced due to a recall. Of course they washed it which I expected but to my surprise they also topped off the tank, was near 1/2 tank. Cool perk but not worth it compared to CBT service! ;)

Speaking of CBT, went there today to pick up new smart key and get it programmed for the 200. Good to see you @murf

Excellent service as always!

Finally finished installing my part time kit. I have a 1 yesr old front Tatton DC shaft and 2x 4"x4"x1" solid aluminum transfer case spacers for sale.

In stalled a hitch and trailer light plug back in 93. Noticed the light turn/brake was real weak on the trailer. Picked up a Curt unit that isolates the trailer wiring from the vehicle wiring using it's own fuse. Working as it should again.

Finally finished fixing the wiring issues with my 70 FJ40. Fuse block was a mess with some inline fused used to bypass original fuse holders with loose connections, undid the trailer light wiring and repaired the harness and used the bullet connectors that are already there. Plus some light that weren't working.

Last was the 4WD light not working on the dash. The switch on the T case was stuck depressed which is open.

Thought about seeing if I could free it up but figure it probably still wouldn't work.

Changed the switch and working as it should now. Trip to the valley and found my stash of dash lights. Have some that the green is not as faded and better heater blower switch. Just need to get them up north.

Things always go smoother when I close the garage doors and put om some light music. For this repair it was Deep Purple Made in Japan.

Got pulled over on my way home from work 80 in a 65... police officer liked my land cruiser and license plate. And I was honest about my speed so he only gave me a warning. I thank my land cruiser for this:bounce:
