Met up with @medtro for his EFI Relay Bypass Kit (Immobilizer Fix) for UZJ100/LX470
Thanks again! Very well put together device, nice plug and play!
Installed new pads and rotors on the 100. Cleaned and repacked the wheel bearings while I had the hubs off.

Yeah I'm gonna keep the rear for now, don't see it restricting much there, I'm also on some pretty heavy springs ome comp coils, I did notice some body roll but much smoother transfer going over small bumps.
Did you grease the inner spindle bearing when you were there?
More info please.
Only did the outer with my bearing packer. Some how was thinking 100 front rotors were different then 80's but it's almost the same process to replace front rotors. Next time I'll order the hub seals and replace the bearings for piece of mind for the miles I have.
I have the build info saved. I can send you a list of everything I used. a friend pieced the kit I used together from eBay mostly. They where he got the wiring pigtails, bulbs and Toyota ballasts.
My safelite experience here was also terrible a while back. Mine was almost exactly the same as Richard's. It was with a Subaru Outback though.
I stopped by their shop to talk to them. They told me to call the toll free number. I called their toll free number a few times, none of their people would answer any questions. All they want to do was to set up a claim, and told me their technicians will do a great job. I decided not to use them.
We had our 2015 Outback windshield replaced and they did a great job. They replaced it at the house and there were no issues. Of course, a stone hit it first thing the next morning, but I can't blame Safelite for that.
Safelite handles all of the glass claims for USAA insurance, so didn't have much of a choice. Going the route of having it replaced on my own and seeking reimbursement for the claim seems like it would have been even more trouble.
My advice, if you have to use Safelite, don't use the mobile service. Go to the shop. The Scottsdale shop has two techs who seem like they know what they're doing. The one who ultimately fixed the windshield recognized the problems with the first install right away. He advised waiting a week for the adhesive to dry. He said it would get all over the interior if they tried to replace it before the adhesive cured.
After driving it in this morning on the interstate, I'm happy with the level of wind noise. It's back to normal.
I have never had a problem with safelite 3 windshields on my FJ 2 on my land cruiser and 1 on my corolla. Granted I have had the same technician most times and he said he is the senior technician out of his shop in East Mesa. So over all I have had a good experience. I have USAA and feel like I have to use safelite, I had my truck at CBT when the windshield went on that and I asked my service adviser to have there glass people do the windshield and they worked through USAA and I never saw a bill for that it was seamless and whoever CBT uses did a great job on the truck. So that may be another option to have CBT do it when there for service.
It took 4 trips to the house by 4 different technicians over the course of a week, and 2 trips to the Safelite shop, but I finally got the 100's windshield replaced. Given the amount of trouble, I should've just had them patch all of the dings, but there was one right in my line of sight and one just below the roofline that was questionable for cracking.
Saturday - 1st tech started stripping the screw to take out the rear view mirror. Stopped and ordered a replacement screw.
Wednesday - 2nd tech has new screw in hand, gets old screw out, then tells me the replacement windshield is the wrong one.
Friday - 3rd tech is apparently just their to fix the screw in the rear view mirror. Thought the windshield was fixed already.
Sunday - 4th tech replaces windshield. Does a crappy job putting the rivets in the side molding and sets the windshield too deep, ton of wind noise.
Wednesday - I take it to the shop to complain about installation and side molding being loose. 5th tech reinstalls the side molding and says to wait a week until the glue dries before replacing windshield again.
Wednesay a week later - 5th tech does a total replacement of windshield. Side molding looks good, and all rubber is tight to the glass. I think we have a winner.
Needless to say, the 5th tech says he wishes they didn't even work on Land Cruiser windshields.
Fingers crossed.
WOW You are patient man....
