I thought I was pushing the envelope buy turning mine up to 10psi.Recent intrest in turbo mods has prompted me to finally put a boost gauge in the BJ74. This was meant to be a quick and easy but temporary solution. Turns out I like it there and might leave it
As expected it was making the factory 8psi boost. Which after seeing it on a guage suddenly became insuficient after 5 years of owning it. So I added a manual boost controller and bumped it up to 15psi. Wow what a difference!!

I would back it off to ~14 lbs. My understanding is the CT26 impeller does not like boost north of that and the blades could fail. I noticed the over-boost light in mine comes on at ~15 lbs. That reinforces the limit in my view.
In my line of work, amber and red lights are bad juju.At least you have confirmed that the orange light actually works......![]()
Nope. Screwed all the way in. Which should be closed and have zero effect. I am assuming its leaking past a bad sealThat looks to be adjustable. It will not go below 15 lbs?
