I cannot wait to see this completed. I really want to get the spare off of the rear door on mine.

May I ask why? (nothing against Jason's design).

I actually like the stock design a lot. I'm going to keep it there and just have Jason design a plain-Jane rear bumper.

Onur, call it a bias against having about 100 pounds hanging on the door. I have no doubt that Mr. T designed the hinges robust enough to handle he weight, but my experience with other designs with that kind of weight on the door causes the hinges to fail prematurely.

One of the nice things about all the good designs out there is the fact that there is something for everyone.

What Mr. T. ( not the one with the jewelry ) probably didn't anticipate, was the amount of accessories that people attach to the spare tire. I cringe when I see all of the extra do-dads that people put back there.

Yes. The hinges on that particular door on mine are a bit worn due to PO and PPO putting at least a high lift jack on the spare tire carrier.

Installed an ARB M002 on my BJ70 to upgrade the headlight power (Hella H4 installed by the previous owner).

The instructions provided were OK, but for someone like me who lacks confidence, a little more specificity would have been great. So, I've added a couple of notes to the ARB instructions provided. Hope this helps the next guy.

If any of this is incorrect, let me know and I'll update this posting.

New windshield glass installed. Windshield and frame back in place with new rubber gaskets/seals almost everywhere.
Roof is still off as the weather is fine.

Yes. Rear doors with tinted glass look strange.

Rust proofing the frame went well until the end when the extension tube with brass nozzle got stuck and broke off inside.
