I cannot wait to see this completed. I really want to get the spare off of the rear door on mine.70 rear is 85%. Customer will be up next week to add some bling... Sand rail carrier and an extended light pole. Will weld out and set up a jig as well.

What Mr. T. ( not the one with the jewelry ) probably didn't anticipate, was the amount of accessories that people attach to the spare tire. I cringe when I see all of the extra do-dads that people put back there.Onur, call it a bias against having about 100 pounds hanging on the door. I have no doubt that Mr. T designed the hinges robust enough to handle he weight, but my experience with other designs with that kind of weight on the door causes the hinges to fail prematurely.
One of the nice things about all the good designs out there is the fact that there is something for everyone.
+shovelYes. The hinges on that particular door on mine are a bit worn due to PO and PPO putting at least a high lift jack on the spare tire carrier.
