Went to 4wheelsparts to pick up my headlamps and parked next to a sweet 80. Chris (if I remember correctly) a mechanic / installer there is the owner of that beauty.

Now I'd better go get back to my wrenching & cleaning, heading away for a big trip Friday & lots to do.

Chopped my exhaust behind the flex pipe. Welded in a red hot 2.5 inch glasspack and dumped it to the side before the rear wheel well. Noise level is well within neighbour friendly. Egt's on highway are way down. It dumps egt faster on idle and picks up boost faster. Not bad for $55 and a bit of flux core booger welding

Have you done an EGR delete? That also helps with the EGT's, and gives significantly more grunt off the line. I could feel the difference more after that mod than any other I did on mine.

Thats the one thing ive been meaning to get to. God bless alberta and its lack of emissions laws. Soon

Regardless, you've made excellent progress on your Prado, keep up the good work! I wish I could have done more to mine, but I bought a G Wagen and the Prado had to go. :(

Installed a backup camera. Its super helpful when I'm in the market here. Picture I took of the image when reversing isn't to good due to glare but the video quality is very good when backing up. You can see both side of the bumper and my hitch. Install wasn't bad just a had to fish cables through the columns and install two small 24V converters.

Through somewhat of a chance encounter in Breckenridge I procured a part necessary to deal with this:

Said part is a STOUT piece of fiberglass that will never rust:

Thanks again, @joekatana

Just did it tonight. What a difference

Awesome! It is always a good feeling to do a small mod that makes a big difference! :)

I have 4 gauges to mount in the truck and the sub fuel gauge mount would only take three so with some 50mm PVC pipe and 40mm end caps from Bunning's.
I built this in a couple hours it's rough and needs more work but I think I might go with this as it's small and out of road vision.
