I don't envision putting a lot up there but may need one of these just for hoisting top on and off. Looks great! Any chance for detailed pics of the weight distribution feet?

J,

@forrest5000 will be posting up more pics soon.

Here is all I have of the feet during the build.

Halfway finished installing my, new-to-me, steering wheel. It's from a mk1 mr2 targa with optional leather. Not 100% sure I'm in love with it. The snap and feel is awesom, but it sticks out super far from the signal/wiper stalks. If I decide to keep it I'll have to trim the steering colum shrouds.

Lots of tinkering :D

I had a bent swing arm strut on the rear Kaymar, while I had parts coming I picked up their telescoping LED work/camp light. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out though I'm not super jazzed about their exposed wire/connectors. It will be just fine functionally but they could have loomed it a bit more? I suppose it makes it easy to swap a light down the road. It's pulling really low amps (as LED's do) so I tied it into my 24V fridge plug harness. I used the ARB fridge load tester to verify I didn't have too much voltage drop when the light was on, as I had hoped it was a very minimal drop and the fridge will be just fine.

Last project for the day was CB install pre CM next week. I mounted the Cobra 75WXST control unit behind the glove box. It worked out really nicely on Project LXXIV and it makes for a quick install. The antenna was mounted using a Wilson NMO hood mount and antenna. While hooking up the CB to the battery I found that my "jumper" cable was pretty nasty, more specifically the ends were really chewed up. I built a new 2/0 cable with mil-spec ends to prevent that from ever becoming an issue.

What did I do on my 70 series.... went away for a four day 4wding trip, ripped off both left hand side flares and dented the left hand door, all on some unseen obstacle in a long mud hole. I H8 mud!.

Managed to recover the flares at least, although they'll need a fair amount of repair work.

I'm just gonna destroy a few 13mm sockets o_O
